Subject: Change of Command
Congratulations Captain Sanidine your years of service preparing our new worker primes and workers for duty protecting the Holfast has led to your selection as commanding officer for a new and unprecedented operation.
You will report to the Sphere Shipyard and assume command of the DD Pyrite which has just completed space trials. You well then be joined by the DD's Barite, Copper, and Calcite. In addition to your duties a Commander of the Pyrite you will also be in operational command of these destroyers.
Your first assignment will be to escort six freighters to Mining Colony QX-57 on the planet Pyre, transfer cargo and proceed to area 51. This planet is surrounded by an intense zone of heat radiation and dust, so if time permits your crews could enjoy some time to bond in this ideal environment.
Considering the increased responsibilities and duties you will be preforming the Ministry of Security also conveys to you the rank of Commodore.
You will be informed of the full scope of your mission when you open sealed orders, held by your Bureau of Alien Contact liaison Agent Corundum, at area 51.

Computer seems to be working again, now this week is kinda shot for free time. Working with Peter on scheduling the bloodbath.
Looking like September, our schedules really don't match for the next couple weeks.

My DWL was worth 105 ( includes drone speed upgrades )
You also shot down 8 drones and 1 shuttle plus internals on DD Minotaur valued at 101.

It will once I get around to it. I scheduled a playtest of an RPG I'm writing for this coming Friday and I'm only about half done. No sleep for me this week. :P

Looking ahead a bit, our start date for this phase was July 18 so the end date will be November 17th.
Again there are no hard and fast deadlines for each scenario, but I would recommend completing one per month so that you don't have a bunch to get done right at the end.

If you posted the second (third?) round match ups, we might get more headway--I have been in contact with Roger about us playing, be he has been very busy these last few weeks/month, so we haven't played. If I know who my other duel match is against, I could try setting something up with them concurrently.
Unless that is problematic for sequencing?
I agree my Hydran opponent is still working on the single player scenario, and im itching to take these DD's out for a spin.
Squadron Commander- Scenario 2 Peladine vs. Lyran

Bridge DWL Kratos
"What in the Far Stars are those, Romulan?!" Commander Jungletoy bellowed as he stared at the tactical display. " Two War Destroyers and a Destroyer. Peladine, and their tubes are hot!" Came the reply from Captain Elsbeth aboard the DWS Nyx. "Battle stations! Arm standard disruptors. Plot an intercept course, full ECCM. Keep us out of phaser range and be ready to run out their plasma." The bridge was darkened to combat lighting all power was be relayed away from non essential functions. Jungletoy hated the natural lighting and much preferred the darkened bridge as his keen night vision cleared. The bridge was a hub of activity as his crew set about their tasks. Jungletoy scratched his chin. Peladine huh, they would have to careful with these ships. Somehow the Peladine had managed to stuff two Plasma Fs a G, 6 Long ranges phasers and a Klingon drone launcher into those war destroyers. •••• Klingons would sell their mothers into slavery if the price was right. The battle net suddenly came alive with chatter. " We have drone launch, one from each ship, looks like ECM drones. Confirmed 3 ECM drones."
The Commander touched the comm button at the empty science station. He had dispatched Fritz to the shuttlebay to help with wild weasel configuration and a nasty surprise if they managed to tractor one of the Peladine ships. "Nyx, do your magic on those ECM drones. Keep up the ECCM!" He heard Figmund reply over the battlenet " Sir, one of the DW has shuttle launch!" Jungletoy touched the comm button "Scatterpack! Fire all disruptors at that shuttle!" The space between the two Squadrons brightend as 6 disruptors leapt from the Kratos and Lelantos. " The weapons helm reported two hits from the Kratos but the three disruptors from the Lelantos were wide right. "Figmund! Your gunners awake over there?!" "Sorry Sir the disruptor banks haven't been the same since that •••• monster at QX-57. We are recalibrating now!". The Commander watched the display for the tell-tale signature of a scatterpack. "There it is." The shuttle slowed and 6 smaller signatures emerged from the inert shuttle. "ESG status!" "Sir all ships are green and ready to rock!" The Commander turned from the science station and strolled across the bridge to his command chair.
Twisiting his whiskers with a devious smile on his face. His hand dropped to the comm button on his chair. "Major Thorvald, get your commandos ready, I think the squadron wants sushi and barbecued racoon for chow this evening. See what you can do to facilitate that. JT out." He heard the roars in the background as Thorvald responded. "Yes sir. All three ships host are deployed and ready for transport.". Jungletoy pushed the battlenet comm button. " Alright ladies and gentlemen lace up your balet slippers we've got some dancing to do."

Chris sorry I haven't been more responsive. I got home just a little while ago after finishing up my 20th hr of OT. The plant is working an extra day so I'm pegging in the week at 28hrs of overtime. Email my profile and we can work out a time for Sunday or even next weekend.
After some severe percussive maintenance, my computer is back up and running! Hopefully I am through pouring money into it for a long, long time.

Guys are some people still doing the QX57 monster or have we gone past that. If we have then I have not recieved any more info on the next scenario etc.
