My wife is playing the Triaxians....Nice and far away from the Tholians. I think they will work well for her. The ships at Y155 are pretty straight forward (for most of us) and she doesn't have to worry about of too many variants for a while.

I have learned a lot in the last two weeks that I wish I had figured out earlier for the Qixa in Q5...ugh.

I am looking forward to playing the Tholians again. I played them in campaigns in the 80s and 90s; but hadn't had a chance for campaign gaming since then. I had to stick with occasional table top scenarios and the annual GenCon visit through 2007. During the early campaigns we did all of our combats using SFB rules on very large floating maps.
