While investigating the X/XP stuff for the feature requests topic, I discovered that X-drones do not work properly. Type-VII drones hold the correct 1.5 spaces of warhead, but also take up 1.5 spaces in the rack. They should take up only one space in the rack. Type-VIII drones do not work at all (they cannot hold any payload). A type-VIII drone should have 2 spaces of payload and take up 1.5 spaces in the rack.

Here's a fun one. Sometimes the client creates extra copies of units.
Steps to reproduce:
1) In a non-tournament room (maybe tournament too, not tested), add some units to the map.
2) Create an additional tab of notes. Put some notes in one of the tabs.
3) Give the units some speeds, call some impulses, move them around a little.
4) Copy/paste the notes from the first notes tab into the second.
5) Watch and be amazed as a duplicate of the last unit you moved appears on the map.

Yeah. I need to look into that. Probably disable copy/paste on the game board to resolve the issue.

Hi Paul, a little later than Frank but yeah, in the Log tab, the notes are not listed in chronological Turn/Impulse order (which is how it was always done and made perfect sense). Super confusing looking at the log now.

I'm flying the Gorn ship HDD+.
I fired 2 ph 1s and 2 ph 3s on same imp.
My Phaser Cap used in EAF shows as 4 used and not 3 as it should be.
Seems the client is counting a ph 3 shot as a ph 1 shot.

In both sessions I recently played against Devil/Majead, automatic notifications for speed changes did not pop up. What happened to this feature?

I sent a feed back. When i load launch Jindarian bombers the map gets all screwy. To include invisible bombers. I mean like super hidden cloak. It also screws up the other ships as well

Majead and I had the same issue last night.
We both did our EA off line and when we tried to load up and resync our game saves, the other player's pieces would disappear.
I had to re set up my pieces to get around it.
We meet again tonight at 1730 EST.
I will let you know if this continues.
Also, the 3G Fed scout ships all have a line in their EAF for photons, no line for Sensor channels.
Fed ships that I found with the issue are FFS, DWS, CLS, CFS, CSV, FLG with 2 photons, NASX, NHS, NSV

Regarding EA and scouts, if anyone runs into "missing" EA lines for special sensors on Tholians, check for them under the "non-weapons" lines. When doing a bunch of those conversions, I went into auto-pilot mode and populated them in the wrong column of the definition. They should all still work fine; the linse just won't be where you expect them. I'll do a run through to get them sorted out at some point in the relatively near future. Sorry for any confusion!

Found the issue. And it will be fixed in the next release of the client.

I think I know your issue and it has to do with how you are responding to the question "Do you want to upload All Pieces?". What the question should read it "Do you want to delete all current pieces and load All Pieces?". If you click "Ok" this will delete all pieces on the server that are currently there and load the pieces that are stored in the file that you are loading. So in your case, if you clicked "Ok" any pieces loaded from your opponent would be deleted. I have changed the wording to say "Do you want to delete all current pieces and load all pieces?" and I have switched the response to be Yes/No/Cancel.

I was tinkering with the Federation BB. And when I tried to fire on an enemy ship, the Weapon Status page showed duplicate weapons (2 Photon-A's, and B's, Etc...).
Also, when Playing as the Federation CA (no refits if that's important info) each of my photons seem to be mark in the game room chat as Photon-D.

I'm playing against Majead's Feds and he has a CA.
His ship took damage and 2 photons were hit, both were labelled 'D' in chat area.
On SSD he selected photons A and B.

I did a test for damage [ hit it with 90 points ] on the Fed CA and Robert is right, every time a photon torpedo takes a hit, it shows as photon D in chat area.
SSD has the correct labelling, EAF has the correct labelling and weapons tab is ok also.
Did same test with Fed CC and same result, photon D was shown as taking the hit in chat area.
Also, Fed CL has the photons incorrectly labelled, it shows as Photon # 1 and Photon #2 instead of " A & B ".
EAF shows as Photon A & B.
Weapons tab shows photons as # 1 and #2.

*Every* 3rdGen ship with option mounts that are adjacent (WYN AuxC, Orion BR, etc...) have only one dropdown box for each grouping of option mounts. The AuxC, for example, only lets you pick one weapon for the LS option mounts and one for the RS mounts. You can't differentiate between the adjacent mounts - one choice for everything.
