The Jindarian Confederation points out that Klingon battles IS considered diplomacy!
By John Burton Steele Sr. (Johnbsteele) on Wednesday, June 01, 2016 - 07:08 pm: Edit |
I am surprised nobody wanted the I.S.C.. They have cruisers the size of Fed DN's. Talk about having battle density, they can be as dense as Jindarian rock squadrons and move speed 3.

No SC, no SR, no FEL, no FES at this time frame.
That is most likely why the ISC was not taken. Well, actually I wanted them, but they were taken at the time (actually several times) and then dropped.
Mike will have built up a most powerful ISC fleet in 5 game year's time. A gift for the first player to be conquered and wants to rejoin the fun!

Not to be confused with the Romulans lacking a SC, SR, FEL, FES, and units capable of more than speed 1 John? :-)
I look forward to my New Hawks and the production of at least one KEX, just for historical semi-accuracy.
===
Hmm, given the Karma dieties, shouldn't the ISC even the scales and give the Romulans a helping hand for once (or is it the Romulans attack the ISC in this universe?)? :-)
By John Stiff (Tarkin22180) on Thursday, June 02, 2016 - 08:30 pm: Edit |
Why yes, the ISC should.
If I were running the ISC in this universe, I'd trade a nice shiny speed 3 CA for your cloaking technology.

Y155. What do the ISC actually have? If I'm reading the MSC correctly the only options are the CPF, FLG and Early Years.

If you follow the year in service...or first seen by the other galactic powers.

J.C. you are correct unless Mike changed there order of battle for them.

On the one hand, none of the "modern" ISC ships are supposed to exist in the historical timeline prior to Y160; they'd have the various Y-era ships from SFB Module Y2 and Module Y3 instead.
On the other hand, there is data in Module Y2 showing what an "early contact" ISC would look like - and a set of alternate "Paravian timelines" in Module C6 in which such rules would be triggered.
So, there is scope for adjusting the dates of certain "middle years" ISC ships' YIS dates to fit more neatly into a non-historical environment, if anyone was so minded.
(I want to say that I might have mentioned this in another discussion thread not so long ago...)

Berg is running the ISC till I fill the position or he decides he does not want to give it up, which ever happens first.

Kurt,
Just interested in what they have/had. When I looked at the MSC in G3 they seemed to be ultra light on.
