To the new Orion leader-"Captain Murphy Macmanus". The Orions have committed a great error in awakening THE sleeping giant. The Galaxy will enjoy your slaughter.

The last time the Orions did battle with the U.F.P. they lost:
2xOBATS,24xGBDP,6xDS,YCR,4xYLR,YCR,3xYLR,YSL,YCR,3xYLR,YVK,CA,CR,3xLR,LRS,CR,3xLR,+LRS,CA,CR,3xLR,+LRS,CR(63%),LR(42%),+LRS.
Now we have 8 more squadrons to ruin (they are hitting us hard). At least they are pulling all of their squadrons from your empires into the U.F.P.

It'll give you something for the peacemongers to shoot at, at least.

Updated economic analysis (BEM)-
The "typical" empire (including all the minor ones) has an income of 301EPs on a peacetime footing.
The galactic GDP is up 41% since the game began.
Major system count is up by 19. This includes upgraded minors and former unpopulated systems that have been upgraded to majors.
Colonized minor systems have been as high as 27 and as low as 19. At present it is 23.
The number of trade pacts continues to climb- it has now reached 36 (up from 30 last turn). Note that this counts both ends (18 pairs).
Projected eGPD is down by 1400EPs this turn due to a number of empires having to drop to peace from war economies.
Nearly a third of empires have become extinct (13 of 40 known). The extinction rate has slowed- none in the last year.
The largest empires: (using eGPD) are the Klingons (7.08% up from 7.00%), Lyrans (6.91%/6.79%), Hydrans (6.79%/6.71%), Kzinti (6.59%/6.48%), and ISC (6.36%/6.26%).

There is sufficient space that there could be, sigh, another 10 as of yet undiscovered species out there.

Romulans this is the second time you have scanned my planet. There are a lot closer places to scan next to the groin stop scanning my planet or this will become more than what it should be.

It is possible abeit unlikely the Orions on system DD44 (whom are supposedly NOT pirates) will release the GBC. The Federation is not holding our breath but are hopeful. "Negotiations" are still taking place.
