Ok, we got everyone! 24 players!

Here is what happens next: Today I generate a list of captains. I will start an e-mail chain among captains to draft teams. We will draft teams. Your team captain will then contact you, let you know you are on their team, and ask you for a ship choice. The captain will then send me a list of teams and ships. I'll put together matches, and we'll be off. This will take a few days to organize and put together, but please keep an eye out for e-mails.

For the sake of clarity--in the next day or so, I will contact 8 captains (well, 7, as I am likely one of the captains). Once I have contacted the 8 captains, we will have a draft, via e-mail. Just the captains will be involved in the draft. When the 8 teams of 3 have been drafted, whatever team you are on's captain will contact you with further instructions. This will all happen in the next few days.

Yes on stand by if needed (I am just having computer issues, I got a back up system tomorrow). I think I can purchase a year subscription to SFBOL through paypal (all I have to do is set up an account with paypal first). At present I have the demo account, and I have been using the Federation TCC.

I have so far heard back from three teams (mine, Bill's, Seth's). When I hear back from all 8, I'll set up the trees.

There will be two pools (A and B). Each pool will have 4 of the teams. Each team member will play one team member from each of the other teams. So for example, for team C:

C1
C2
C3

Player C1 will play players D1, E1, and F1.

If that makes sense to folks. It makes sense to me :-)

Hmm, well even though further explanation was not asked for, it seemed to be be hinted at, heh. The Masters event (which was always one of my favorites) is where you are assigned a ship pretty much randomly, and should you be fortunate enough to win, you would take the conquered ship into the. Ext round. As you can see, if you are successful
You will be playing a great variety of ships, even ships you are not accustomed to playing and ships you are admittedly poor at playing. Thus, "Master" does not really reference a highly skilled player by itself, instead I it references a player that can play multiple ships at a high levels, "Master".

One note on Masters tournament.
Because you might play ships you never saw before, errors are inevitable. Like the time I didn't know the Selt has only one shuttle bay.
Tolerance is a virtue.
