That is intentional. There is no other way for the damage to the magazines to be done properly

Klingon Transport Tug seems to have twice as many Drone racks then it suppose to, according to Randy.
By Francois Lemay (Princeton) on Saturday, June 18, 2016 - 02:47 pm: Edit |
You are correct Robert.
The TGB has 2 A racks while the TGA has 4.
Its one of mine so I have corrected it and sent the correction to Paul for upload.
Thanks for reporting it !
Cheers

3G "SSDs" are WAY too big. As in, ridiculous sized. Since no effort was made to make the "boxes" line up with the art, the art is superfluous and unnecessary.
The Damage Allocation window is modal, making it impossible to switch to the "SSD" to determine if you want to hit a different phaser or whatnot.
By Paul Franz (Andromedan) on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 - 06:14 am: Edit |
Randy,
We will see if we can work on adjusting the size of the SSDs.
When it comes to the Damage Allocation selector window, that is something that I am looking into.

I would like to say, you guys that are actually involved with the 3G SSD's are doing a great job. And the points randy made are also valid. One other point I would like to make is that if at all possible to add a little bit more info on the 3G SSD's, like turn mode chart, how many shuttle bays, etc. It would help speed game play in my opinion as I would not need to dig out my graphical SSD for that information and hold up everything. Not a big deal in tourny play I would think but when trying to play normal SFB (I like to say proper SFB ) not having it does slow things down.
Keep up the good work guys and as a player thank you!
By Randy Blair (Randyblair) on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 - 10:23 am: Edit |
Paul - thanks.
Majead - I think that having to "dig out the graphical SSDs" is a good thing. It helps ensure that the player owns the product in question.
I know it's inconvenient as Gehenna, but I think it helps ADB not lose money.
By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 - 06:03 pm: Edit |
I send the ship images in whatever size is convenient for me figuring the guys (or anyone with photoshop) can resize them as needed. If you can figure out how to tell me what size you want in inches I can try to make it happen.
As for the boxes lining up with the images, I'd refer people to the FedCom stuff but the 3G system doesn't make that workable. If somebody sends me a screen-jpg of a problematic ship I can suggest a better arrangement but really somebody else can do that just as well as I can and I've got a few jobs already.
It's not rocket science and a little effort to line stuff up goes a long way. I'd think you guys doing it would note the people want it to line up and try 1% harder to make it sew.

Is the Fed CC+ with a AWR refit suppose to have 2 AWR and 2 APR? If not, then that's an error that needs fixing.

Robert, nope, however I have fixed the problem and sent to Paul for upload.
Thanks.

RE: SFBOL Images...
Ones that need to be resized...
All Klingon ships bigger than an E4.
Also, it would be cool if the damage tracks showed the original amount of boxes as well, like:
Bridge (1/2)
Otherwise, it's difficult to know, at a glance, if you are crippled, or how to spend your CDR/EDR.

Randy,
I'm working on the over sized Fed ships.
I'll start on the Klingons if Paul wants me too.

Sigh it was reported by 88mph but we have a issue as we are playing our campaign battle. Seems my Jindarian ships lock up when i do the damg. We did the frigate by hand to keep going but it locked up again. So we saved. Not sure what is causing it. I noticed there was a update but i could not find it to update as sigh. Any way.
By Paul Franz (Andromedan) on Thursday, July 28, 2016 - 11:35 pm: Edit |
Greg.
What do you mean by stalled?
Also, if it is you that is experience an issue. I need for you to report it. Because when you report the logs that I keep when it comes to errors and internal issues get sent to me. This helps me debug any issue.
For example, 88mph reported the issue "Stalled Damage Allocation" but I saw no issues in the log. So I have clue to reason for any error.
By Gregory S Flusche (Vandor) on Friday, July 29, 2016 - 03:49 pm: Edit |
It may be fixed as I did a update.. and it was working on a test. Going to load are game and see what goes on in a few. What was happining was damg allocation would start... then simply stop and not complete. 88mph said they had a somthing close to that before but you fixed it so i went and updated.
By Gregory S Flusche (Vandor) on Friday, July 29, 2016 - 05:35 pm: Edit |
went into saved game and damg allocation worked. The update also gave me a new picture ICON. Kinda cool looking

Good to hear.

Plasma-D racks aren't showing up in the "Launch Plasma" part of the Impulse Activity action window. Unable to launch plasma-Ds or Plasma-Ks except by manual announcement and manual placement of markers.
Other plasma launchers are appearing properly.
Checked the ships' expendables, and it was pre-populated properly. Changing some entries to plasma-Ks did not fix the problem.
Plasma-Ds do show up in the weapon's allocation segment (to allow bolting. Technically not allowed, but really a non-issue)
Checked with General Base Station SSD (with Romulan Y170 "refit") and with random Romulan SSD (the BHE, in this case.) Same issue with both: No action line during the plamsa-launch segment for plasma racks.

Klingon manned MRS shuttles can't be loaded with drones.
By Sören Klein (Ogdrklein) on Sunday, March 19, 2017 - 12:21 pm: Edit |
Hello, Paul!
I tried to load a Romulan DemonHawk for a game in SFBOL but nothing happened in the client.
At first I thought the client froze but loading another romulan ship (SpH-A) worked fine.
I tested it with the romulan MGH and OMH and it seems that the client won't load any of the three romulan modular dreadnoughts.
Is it a glitch or did I made anything wrong?
Mit freundlichen Grüßen,
Soeren Klein

Soeren,
It was my problem. Sorry about that. I seemed to forgotten to upload the file itself. It is now fixed.

Hello Paul,
Wanted to report that the Andromedan EEL's EAF is a cobra (has TRL's instead of sensor channels)

Josh,
Updated Andromedan EEL is now uploaded to the library.

Paul,
Just an FYI. The tractor formula does not work if a ship is moving in reverse.
Example, played a game where Lyran DW moving -18 tractored a FT moving 13 forward, both with a MC 0.5.
Lyran pseudo was at 8 [ should be 9] and FT pseudo was at 6, ok .
Thanks.
Cheers
