Could be....or the fighting is bloody and widespread. I haven’t heard anything. I am just paranoid.

We ALL should be.

By Mike Incavo (Kavo) on Sunday, December 15, 2019 - 10:32 pm: Edit

Been out of town a lot so this turn is going slow. Hoping to have it finished in the next couple of weeks.

No Problem It gives me more time to prepare my Home World Defense from the Borak and there friends!

Im going to call my Andro friends (they gave me a red button to push if the Borak showed up in our Galaxy... good thing they did)!

Are we still using the "Galactic Boogyman Tracker"?
The U.F.P. has nothing on my sensors.

By Kurt Byanski (Kurtski) on Saturday, January 04, 2020 - 06:05 pm: Edit

Nothing here unless you count the spiders and canadiens trying to annex Tholian space.

By John Burton Steele Sr. (Johnbsteele) on Saturday, January 04, 2020 - 10:12 pm: Edit

The Spiders are part of the Boogymen. How many of their ships does everybody see?
At one time we counted over 500 Borak ships before they disappeared and apparently this was a recon force.

By Roy D Steele (Emperor) on Sunday, January 05, 2020 - 03:05 pm: Edit

There are no enemies on the Jindarian Federations scans.

Native Galactic Empires of U6:
It seems the Borak have the ability to control wormholes. They created an intergalactic wormhole and opened it and then closed it. They also closed the wormhole at PP50/G9. One side of that closure resulted in losses for the U.F.P. so it seems that when they close the wormhole one side is more volatile than the other as the Hydrans took no losses. Be weary of the wormholes in this galaxy and prepare for more opening where it would benefit the Borak/Spider/?? invasion. We do know the Jindarian Federation sighted "Thousands of ships" waiting to come through so what was in our Galaxy was a recon. The U.F.P. suggests you eliminate all red hexes near you.

Thanks I think? By "closed" do you mean it is still there but inoperative? Or did it go away? Or did the unthinkable happen, that one end moved to a new location?

By John Burton Steele Sr. (Johnbsteele) on Wednesday, January 08, 2020 - 03:34 pm: Edit

Both sides of the wormhole were removed from the map.

By John L Stiff (Tarkin22180) on Wednesday, January 08, 2020 - 10:28 pm: Edit

That is pretty drastic. Do you suppose that a new worm hole will appear somewhere else?

By Kurt Byanski (Kurtski) on Thursday, January 09, 2020 - 08:12 am: Edit

Maybe wormholes are inherently unstable. This one predated the Borak invasion.

By John Burton Steele Sr. (Johnbsteele) on Thursday, January 09, 2020 - 08:51 am: Edit

The U.F.P. Hypothesis is if these extra galactic species created wormholes for the Borak and for the Union of Worlds-The Arachnids (who appeared just after the Borak) the Galactic Invasion will take place as multiple smaller "Galactic Boogymen" place new wormholes simultaneously in multiple places and hit us HARD. The U.F.P. takes seriously the Jindarian Federations assessment the 500 Borak ships encountered were a reconnaissance in force.

We are DOOMED...

By Charles "Lucky" Coleman (Mwmiyd) on Thursday, January 09, 2020 - 08:11 pm: Edit

We need details! Were Borak ships in the WH hex at the time? What class ships were there? Were you in combat at the time? Did they defeat you first or were you still in control of the hex? Details!

By John Burton Steele Sr. (Johnbsteele) on Friday, January 10, 2020 - 10:28 am: Edit

I was NOT in combat and I saw no ships. Segment 8 is when my ships got there when the hex blew. I didn't even have time to RxAM. I had 6 complete DN squadrons enter the hex on segment 8 and that is when it got me. Maybe it is some kind of special trap rule they have. I don't know. All I know is I lost everything in that hex. Do we have P.C.'s we don't know about running those empires?

By Kurt Byanski (Kurtski) on Friday, January 10, 2020 - 10:43 am: Edit

OUCH!!! I do not have confirmation of a PC, but there is an email address for the Arachnids.

By Charles "Lucky" Coleman (Mwmiyd) on Friday, January 10, 2020 - 08:45 pm: Edit

Well, …. That's disturbing information.

By John L Stiff (Tarkin22180) on Friday, January 10, 2020 - 11:33 pm: Edit

Question. Were the ships destroyed or lost? I.E. I am speculating that maybe they are somewhere else but out of contact for the moment. Perhaps they may reappear next turn when a new wormhole is formed. I am thinking "Bermuda Triangle".

By John Burton Steele Sr. (Johnbsteele) on Friday, January 10, 2020 - 11:54 pm: Edit

They are listed as destroyed on my battle brief at PP50 as losses for empire (they are in red). The brief under spying & intel is: Squadrons 42A through 47A (the individual squadrons were listed by their ships) "were lost upon entering hex PP50. Scientists think the wormhole was remotely detonated by unknown forces".

By John L Stiff (Tarkin22180) on Saturday, January 11, 2020 - 12:16 pm: Edit

Well, mixed messages - "destroyed" and "lost". In this case lost and destroyed mean the same thing. The Jindarian Confederation will hold a day of honor for those souls that are now gone forever.

By John Burton Steele Sr. (Johnbsteele) on Monday, February 03, 2020 - 06:37 pm: Edit

I vote for an immediate game restart with the current victory conditions.

By Charles "Lucky" Coleman (Mwmiyd) on Monday, February 03, 2020 - 08:05 pm: Edit

I can go either way. Continue or Restart. I'll do my best to try and catch the Tholian.
