Okay, I need to start a series of Sapphire crown events. The delay in doing so has been a result of my laziness in not getting out of my sick bed sooner. Also because I did not understand until Jean mentioned it (after I had started Sapphire XII) that Andrew Koch had picked up the torch and run with it. I need to take some time to Finish the resulting paperwork and time to do this is hard to come by between half-day schedules and work to be done, but people are expecting ace cards and pins for their efforts. So Please bear with me.

I need to contact Madjack, Metaldog, Captain Ron (won Sapphire Star IX), and Kingzilla (won Sapphire Star X)to schedule Sapphire Crown #2. We have two winners so far for Sapphire Crown #3 being Dana Madsen (won Sapphire Star XI) and Cadet Stimpy (won Sapphire Star XII).

Last 4 winners:

SS 12: Cadet Stimpy

Sapphire Crown #1 took 6 tournaments to get 4 winners (myself and Jack won twice each; I suspect that this factoid was missed most recently). I'm not sure what the overall plan is, but it seems like there should be a Sapphire Crown #2 with the winners of 7, 8, 9, 10 (Mad Jack, Metaldog, Ron, Kingzilla), and then the winners of 11 and 12 should wait till we have a 13 and 14 finished?

That sounds legit. I think one of the issues we're running into is that Metaldog has been MIA from SFB for a bit now. I don't know that he'll be back to fill his seat. Maybe it should be MadJack, CaptainRon, Kingzilla, and Madman, and then I'll wait on the next 3 winners (or next 2 winners + Metaldog if he comes back).

It's up to Steve Petrick (Petrick) how to handle MetalDog as MD has not been on SFB online for a long time. I think Peter Bakija (Bakija) has it right.
