Kingzilla, HYD over Zackwalk, GRN

Turn one Gorn launched PPT & HYD ran off with ftrs in tow. At 18 moves on plasma, HYD took 9 damage. Turn 2 HYD chased Gorn down and speed changed to 31 with ftrs in tow. Next impulse HYD realized what he did and killed the ftrs, while Gorn had an f torp targeted on one of the ftrs. Later in the turn at range 3 Gorn bolts s & f and fires 3 p1 doing 7 internals taking out p1 & hellbore (both bolts hit). Next impulse range one HYD fires 4 p1 & gat and standard hell. Doing 17 internals taking out f torp and p3 and 3 power. Two impulses later the HYD landed one SS in the down shield cracking the ships hull. With total power down to 28 and a few more phasers. The next few turns the HYD chased the Gorn to the other side of the map then the Gorn launched a G PPT and the HYD ran off. Turn 5 the HYD ran the Gorn down to the other side of the map. Turn 6 the HYD got the Gorn’s weak shield # 4 with a standard hell, 2 fusions and 5 p3 and 4 p1 at range 1.

Game 1.7 - Zero_G (ORI) vs Spartan (ISC)

Wayne, thanks for playing tonight. We got through one turn, the Orion is using the Hellbore package.

T1 - ISC moved 24/16/24, Orion moved 27. ISC saw both engines doubled T1, so ran for the corner for 1/2 turn. Orion pursued, about Impulse 24, Orion is headed in, ISC turns the #1, launches 2x20 from G-tubes, Orion heads in to about range 8, fires 6xph-1 for 13 and sees 8 reinforcement. A standard Hellbore misses. Orion turns off to run from plasma, launches a few drones. ISC closes to range 6 and fires PPD on 1.32 on the #3 shield, hits, sees no reinforcement. We plan to pick up possibly tomorrow afternoon Asian time, or possibly Tuesday.

T1: Jack enveloped a torp and held 2 suicides, 6 in general. Jeff - made 27 moves, 2 suicides, and 2 standards.

Jack slips out most of the turn and launches the enveloper impulse 20. Jeff shoots and hits with both disruptors and is in the middle of the map.

T2: Jacks mostly just plans to move to the center of the map setting up for a T3 anchor attempt hopefully. Jeff speeds off to outrun the enveloper but ends up getting hit for 13 after 7 reinforcement. Jack deal with 4 t1 drones from launches turn 1 and 2.

T3. Jack is ready to give the anchor a go and will fast load the S if it comes to it. Jeff arms 2 overloads and 2 stds, he is ready to rumble. Jeff turns in early T3 as the Gorn approaches and launches 2 T4s. Jeff fires at range 2 and does 65 points of damage for a bunch of internals. Jeff also does a good job of getting suicides and drones into places where the Gorn needs to do something about them and eventually hits the Gorn with a suicide on a up shield. The impulse chart was friendly and enabled the Gorn to hit with 90 plasma, a suicide, and some phasers all on the same shield for I think 103 internals. After some serious discussion about how the flag bridge on the Shark would scare the Gorn into submission we called it there.

Game 1.7 - Zero_G (ORI) vs Spartan (ISC)

ISC moved 21/24/30, Orion moved 19/30/19/28 with both warp doubled. The PPD was fired on 1.32, so continued into turn 2. Two G-torps are also inbound, so the Orion absorbs a pulse on 2.1, turns away on 2.2 and takes the final pulse on 2.3, a total of 10 reinforcement. The ISC did not get closer than range six, so holds off on any phaser fire at the Orion, fires 3x ph-3s to deal with 2x drones. After turning at speed 19, Orion accels to speed 30 to run from plasma, ISC follows. About impulse 11, Orion HETs back directly towards the ISC, range 5. This allows the G-torps to impact on their 19th move, so they do 10 pts to the #5. The ISC fires 6x ph-1s to do 20 pts to the #1, and then turns away to launch an F-torp. Orion strikes back with 6x ph-1, does 23 pts to the #3. Orion launches 2x drones somewhere in there. F-torp is phaser-ed down to 16, and hits the #5, sees reinforcement and drops the shield. ISC slowly barrels around, accels to 30 while Orion accels to 28. ISC gets turned around into the upper NW corner, Orion turns to purse, about 6-7 hexes distant, and now down by 4 warp. It is a slugfest, the Orion will have the HB back online, and PPD comes online as well.

Plan is to play Saturday afternoon, Asian time!

BS over Crash and burn

T1 I loaded 4 ol, put out sp. The aux ran up to range 8 and fired 2 std direct fire hellebores and 4 p1s doing 17 to shield 2. I hit with 4 old but rolled poor with phasers and did 5 or so internals through his shield 3. He turned fully away launching 6 drones late in the turn. My drones are behind me.

T2. I plot 3 ol a std top off phasers and move speed 15 all turn. He plots speed 21. I turned to shadow him to the corner. I use 8 add rounds to drop 6 drones, and 2p3s at a turn 2 drone. On impulse 27 I accelerate to 21 to reach range 8. I hit with 3 dis overloaded the 4th with batts, and rolled great 11223 with phasers for another 5 in. He launched 5 drones as counters to my sp. and 4 p1s at me doing 13 to me. I launch 2 drones on 32.

T3. I plot speed 15 all turn. I turn in and cut in behind him getting out of his fa. He launched 1 drone at my last sp drone, and 5 at me. I get one drone with an add. I fire 2 phaser 2s at drones 4 and 5, doing 3 and 5 damage not killing either. He fired 4 p1s at shield 6 taking it down to 5. I turned in launching 2 counter drones. Planning to fire 2 p3s at the wounded drones, but I forgot to fire them. I fired 4 ol, and 4p1s doing a dozen or so internals. His drones hit for 36 to my number 1. I get in behind him fully. We each launch shuttles at each other. I fire a last p1 for 5 internals. 1 of his is a sui at one of my shuttles. He announces Ed and tacs his hellebores into arc hitting with both for 16 internals. I end the turn at range 2 on a down shield.

On impulse 1 turn 4, I fire 4 p1s and 2p2s doing 23 internals. I plan to run off his drones he may launch. My fire took out 2 more drones leaving him with 2 drones left. He conceded.
