(R4PF100) Romulan K1 notes:

All Romulan PFs include a cloaking device, which is also included in the BPV. This is no different than any Centurion or Starhawk.

As with the other PFs in the Newsletter, they are "old style" SSDs. Any sabot refit or crawford box is not currently included as they stand now.

On the other hand, I have no idea where the 1/4 movement rate note comes from. All PFs everywhere, literally (and I mean literally literally, not figuratively literally) have a movement rate of 1/5. This is true of the K1.

Ken, no.

The Romulan K1s are based purely on Klingon G1s. By story and by necessity.

When naming the K1s, I just took the name from "Take the Klingon ship number, e.g. "5" from F5, and replace the Klingon letter with the letter "K". E.g., an F5 becomes a K5. So, with the G1, it becomes a K1. That's how its name was created.

Honestly, I forgot that there ever even was a "Klingon K1" unit of any kind. Apparently everyone else forgot, too, as you are the first one to even mention its existence.

But, again, the Romulan K1 is based purely on the Klingon G1. There is nothing conjectural about any of these ships.
