A ship that never was...
Whiskers got wind of the Klingon B-10 development program and put a pocket battleship idea together as a way to counter the threat. It was to be a fast to convert unit with off the shelf parts.
Thus was designed the Kzinti Pocket Battleship.
Whiskers agents thought they could mount two battle pods (hard-welded w/ extra structural bracing) to a DNL (which didn't preform to expectations anyway) and thus create a ship with 8 disruptors 4 Drone-D and six standard drone racks to boot!. The ship design staff got quite a laugh out of this design that Whiskers claimed that they projected movement cost of 1.5 warp power units per 100KK. This ship was never given concideration (outside of Whiskers).

Okay, because it was intriguing...
R5.?? Kzinti Pocket Battleship
I've credited Steve with it; it's his baby, after all. I did have to play around a bit with the lay out of the wings to get it all to fit, but the systems are right, even if they look a bit odd. I also figure that the pods will block any thing on that side, so the firing arcs on the wing phasers and the pods themselves were altered; 360's became 180's, and 120 arcs were offset by 60 degrees (i.e., FA becomes LF+L, etc.) Talk about a drone chuckin' machine, though. Woof! Anyway, have fun. Send it in, Steve...you never know what might happen.

OK,
I have to admit, I have been out of the loop for a couple weeks. Mike, Thanks for the SSD. As always in my life Murphy's law has happened once again. One day when I get time...
As for flying the thing, just remember it only works in a Whiskers sim.

Steve Cain:
I know all about the whiskers sims. Like I said above the Kzinti was my first true love race and for the Kzinti Admiralty to allow one of those ships in space they would of had to been to an all night party with Romulan Ale as the centerpiece drink. Talk about the hangover, WOW!!!!!!!!!!.
Anyway thanks for the ship.
John, "GODZILLAKING".
