You asked us for the Module C5 rulebook to be made available as a PDF; we listened and here it is!
The Lesser Magellanic Cloud is an island galaxy below the plane of the Milky Way and the primary point of the Andromedan Invasion. It was also the home of the Baduvai Imperium, the Maghadim Hives, the Eneen Protectorates, Uthiki Harmony, and the Jumokian Pirates. They shared a rich history of conflict, commerce and war, capped by a grim fight for survival when the Andromedans invaded.
You will find more than a dozen new weapons and systems from warp tuned lasers to the massive shock of charged particle accelerators to deadly mass driver missiles. These new weapons, new systems, and new sensors will provide you a new set of tactics and playstyles for Star Fleet Battles. To help you dive right in there are 10 new scenarios.
You will need the SFB Basic Set (or the Master Rulebook) and one of the SFB Module C5 SSD Books to use this material.
This book also includes the 2011 errata appended to the end.
It does not include counters.

Star Fleet Battles Commander's Edition Update #2 Available
Update #1 simply brought the Rev. 0 of Commander's Edition of Star Fleet Battles up to Rev. 1. Update #2 adds substantially to the core rulebook. Ground combat, boarding parties, more weapons, more ships (and names for them), the introduction of the Lyran Democratic Republic, scenarios, and the Bargantine Campaign are all in this update.
D16 Advanced Boarding Parties: Conduct a boarding assault against an enemy starship with this unique intra-ship combat system.
D22 Energy Balance Due to Damage: An ultra-realistic system for assessing the effects of power lost due to battle damage during the turn.
FD10-15: Advanced modular drone construction, Swordfish drones fire phasers at their target, armored drones survive target defenses, Spearfish drones penetrate enemy shields.
FP8-10: Plasma bolts allow a direct-fire option for plasma torpedoes, Type-D torpedoes can be carried by fighters, special racks allow ships to fire Type-Ds for point defense.
Ships: All of the ship data from SSD Books #7, #8, and #9, plus the ships from Supplement #3, plus the ships published in the addenda (in addition to a special compilation of all of the addenda). Also included are three dozen totally new ships never before published. As a special bonus, a complete list of ship names is also included.
Lyran Democratic Republic: A Star Fleet Battles minor empire, the LDR is a neutral power at the junction of the Klingon, Lyran, and Hydran empires.
Scenarios: The 21 Nexus scenarios, which have been completely updated and reformatted.
The Bargantine Campaign: Just after the General War, the former Klingon Satrapy Bargantina attempted to recover the Landfalk planetary system from the Hydrans. The resulting campaign saw the deadly Exodrones fired against Hydran Harriers.
SSDs: Eight SSD sheets from important Star Fleet Battles starships, including three totally new ships never seen before.
Abbreviations: A completely updated edition of Annex #5, listing the abbreviations used in the Star Fleet Battles rules system.
Revisions: The bulk of this material was previously published in various issues of Nexus magazine and Captain's Log. This edition has been completely revised and updated and includes all addenda previously published and a considerable amount of totally new material. Update #2 is more than just a compilation of old material; it is an important new Star Fleet Battles module.
Note: This product adds new play situations, background material, rules, and starships for the Star Fleet Battles game system. You must have Star Fleet Battles Volume I to use this material. Some material in this product also requires other SFB volumes and products.

FREE! About Federation & Empire Is Now Available
Have you ever wondered what Federation & Empire is all about? This booklet is designed to tell you more about the wide-ranging game that so many now enjoy. While you cannot play Federation & Empire with the information you will find here, you can make an informed choice about whether you would enjoy the game.
Here you will find an explanation of what the game entails and a map of the Alpha Octant of the Milky Way Galaxy (including the location of familiar empires such as the Federation, Klingons, Romulans, Gorns, Tholians, and Kzintis, along with less familiar empires such as the Inter-Stellar Concordium and Lyrans). The entire first chapter of the main rulebook is included. It has definitions, a sequence of play, and much more. You will also find a timeline of the Star Fleet Universe that covers the time of the General War. There is an article explaining what generally happens during a typical turn. Finally, to leave you smiling, there is a short humorous story about "The Order of the 'F' and the 'E'" which you, too, could join.

Federation & Empire: The Hurricane Scenario Available
This is the six-sector version of the classic Federation & Empire Scenario (603) The Hurricane. It originally appeared in three parts in Captain's Log #41, Captain's Log #41 Supplemental File, and Captain's Log #42.
Scenario (603) The Hurricane was one of the scenarios in the Federation & Empire boxed strategic game. It covers the period from the Romulan Invasion of the Federation to the final collapse of the Coalition Offensive at the very gates (well, starbases) of the Federation's capital region. The original scenario was one big thing, but this version (fully updated for all of the expansions) divides the campaign into six sectors (Hydran Front, Kzinti Front, Gorn-Romulan Front, Federation-Romulan front, and two sectors of the Klingon-Federation front). Players can play just one sector for an evening's game, or combine multiple sectors for a weekend of gaming, or spend an entire week on the entire campaign.

Historical Background: Between August 1942 and the end of 1943, Japanese and Allied naval forces clashed in more than a dozen nighttime surface actions. These battles were generally the result of attempts to land, supply or evacuate troops in the Solomon Islands. Although Guadalcanal is certainly the best known of these islands, other invasions in the Solomons also resulted in sea fights. Allied landings at New Georgia, Vella Lavella and Bougainville all provoked sorties from the large Japanese naval base at Rabaul.
Either actual or threatened Allied air superiority caused these battles to be fought at night. This suited the Japanese well; they had trained long and hard in night tactics, concentrating on the use of their excellent torpedoes. Although the Allies had the advantage of radar, they did not learn how to use this advantage effectively until well into 1943. Only then could the Allies outfight the Japanese in night actions.
Published at the end of 1985, this scenario requires the second edition of Battlewagon.

Federation Commander Scenario Log Now Available
"Helm, lay in a course for our next engagement. Lives are at stake!"
Scenarios form a great deal of the history of the Star Fleet Universe. These scenarios were originally published in Captain's Log #32 (which saw the introduction of Federation Commander) through Captain's Log #50. Here you will find scenarios written originally for Star Fleet Battles (and adapted for Federation Commander) and those written new for Federation Commander.
While many of the scenarios are written for two players, you will find some written for three, four, or even five players. There are classic duels with some twists, missions, and two Juggernaut scenarios.
You will need Federation Commander ship cards and rules to play these scenarios; however, you can also simply enjoy reading about the various parts of Star Fleet Universe history.

Star Fleet Battles: Module C6 - Lost Empires Now Available
Wolves among the Lions
Screaming Space Birds
The Star Fleet Battles Module C6 - Lost Empires covers the extinct Paravian and Carnivon empires, presented as their ships and weapons would have been by the time of the General War (except for that annoying extinction thing). Each empire is presented with multiple alternate histories, although players can ignore both and write their own if they wish.
The Carnivons might have existed as a major empire between the Lyrans and Kzintis, or they might have escaped to the WYN Cluster.
The Paravians might have survived Gorn attempts to destroy their empire and could have ended up allied to the Romulans (while the ISC became allies of the Gorns). Alternately, they could exist as edge-of-the-map raiders.
The rulebook includes the rules for playing the Carnivons and Paravians in the General War era, the empires that almost were. You will find the rules for heel nippers, deathbolts, and quantum wave torpedoes as well as 10 scenarios for you to play.
The SSD book, available as an ebook in both the classic B&W and in color, contains new starships, fighters, bombers, and gunboats for both empires.
