As usual, Jean is going crazy trying to get all of the new ships and fighters finalized for tonight. It looks like there will be 29 of them including four Romulan fighters, two Fed Fighters, and six various Fed Tugs. Remember she uploaded 50 ships only a week ago!

With all that work to do and Shapeways crashing at odd intervals, one might assume that it's a good day for everyone to work hard to make Jean's life easier.

But you would be wrong!

It's actually the perfect day to prank Jean with reports of even more ships about to appear from the sculptors including this series of additional Romulan fighters.

JEAN, YOU WILL NEED THESE DESCRIPTIONS WHEN THE FILES COME IN TONIGHT. BE SURE ALL OF THEM GET UPLOADED, PRICED, AND FINALIZED.

GLADIATOR-A ASSAULT FIGHTER
A late-war improvement of the Gladiator-F, this carried type X-technology plasma-A torpedo. Note the bulge under the spaceframe to account for the heavier systems carried.

GLADIATOR-B BLAST FIGHTER
A modification of the Gladiator-II, this was the only Romulan fighter able to detonate its plasma-F and fire it in plasma bolt mode. These were often known as Doomfighters due to the relatively small chance they would survive the battle (bolting the torpedo crippled the fighter). They were flown by remote-control and only within 200,000km of their carrier. Note the plating over the empty cockpit on the right side.

GLADIATOR-C COMMAND FIGHTER
This is a modified Gladiator-II which replaces the plasma-F torpedo with second cockpit (see the left side of the miniature) containing a squadron command officer. This was not the only two-seat version of the Gladiator-II but there was one in every squadron.

GLADIATOR-D DRONE FIGHTER
This modified Gladiator-F carried copies of Federation drones (see the miniature). The drones had no warheads and were used for dissimilar dogfight training. Gladiators used low-powered drones and pseudo-plasmas to avoid damaging the few copied drones available.

GLADIATOR-E ELECTRONIC WARFARE FIGHTER
This is another Modified Gladiator-II with the plasma torpedo replaced by electronic warfare gear (note the sensor dish on the fighter centerline) and a second cockpit (on the left) for the electronic warfare officer. Officially, every squadron of Gladiator-II/III fighters included one of this type and one Gladiator-C.

GLADIATOR-G COMMANDO FIGHTER
This is a modified Gladiator-II with the plasma-F torpedo replaced by four Romulan Marines (the fifth member of the nominal boarding party was the pilot himself). The idea was for the fighters to fight their way through Federation or Gorn defenses (note the four plasma-I cylinders) and then crash land on an enemy ship or base. The Marines would then dismount and attack with infantry weapons.

GLADIATOR-H CARGO FIGHTER
This is a Modified Gladiator-I fighter with the plasma-F torpedo replaced by a small amount of cargo (such as ammunition for ground troops or a hot bucket of plomek soup for the admiral). Note the change to the torpedo mounting on the nose which is different as this fighter has no torpedo per se.

Where is the Gladiator-M mauler fighter? Is that next month?

Remember these fighters all have the new cloaking device (weapons can be launched or fired under cloak).
Also, any word on the Gladiator-R (plasma-R) mega fighter, Is that this month?
