Wide hospital corridors are much easier to pass on a walker that much narrower hallways to my home bathroom. The resulting pain is the worst of the whole escapade.

Woke up this morning after a good night of sleep. First day of home recovery.

I got up and walkered around. I sat upright for an hour without getting dizzy. The home health RN was here to set up things and said she would personally do an orthostatic test to start trying to figure out where the dizziness is coming from.

Saturday morning, good night of sleep, Leanna made a nice breakfast, sore but not pain.

SUNDAY
I get up for short walkering trips every hour, sit up straight ten minutes an hour, and do three ten-minute exercise sessions a day.
I have mastered the trip to the bathroom and back. I will beat this.

MONDAY MORNING started bad but I was eventually able to get up and get around on my own. Leanna woke up and fixed breakfast, which improved my outlook. Current guess is that I will not make it to church on the 21st, or 25th.

I managed to get into a wheelchair and spend an hour at my home desk playing PLANETBASE just to see if my leg could stand it. Wasn’t fun but I did it. Too bad the work I need to do most cannot be done from home.

That will push my attempt to get to the office for a few minutes into Thursday. Yes, it's 3am and I cannot sleep.

Home health / physical Therapy was just here and ordered me to reschedule my cardiologist appointment. While I am strong enough to go to the bathroom I am not strong enough to ride 30 minutes and spend an hour or two with the doctor’s office.

Some progress today, but I am tired and sore. I won't get back to the office for another week and may never get back to full time or even part time. I know recovery takes weeks but I've had enough already. I just want it over with.
