Vandermint: a minted chocolate liqueur

By Scott Tenhoff (Scottt) on Monday, December 02, 2019 - 05:12 pm: Edit

You might get a copyright violation w/ "Eminem"... haha

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Monday, December 02, 2019 - 07:33 pm: Edit

Oh, is that the singing group? I forgot them.

Maybe Emandem.

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Monday, December 02, 2019 - 07:34 pm: Edit

I got Tony's information on the missing ACTA data today. We might get that one uploaded by the end of the week. Then I gotta get to work on the SFB stuff. Anybody remember which captain's log had those "hybrid" SSDs? I can steal the charts there.

By Alan W. Kerr (Awkerr) on Tuesday, December 03, 2019 - 03:49 am: Edit

for the Tree ships, I'd prefer evergreen names so:
spruce, juniper, cypress, cedar, conifer, evergreen.
and of course:
X-mas Tree (the X1 refit/upgrade)

I don't see the Sleigh Cruiser listed...
I suggest Krampus as the name
(it IS a warship... it's not supposed to be "nice")

Star: I-am-not-Igneous
Candy Cane: (LTT varient) Franklinmint :-)

By Steve Zamboni (Szamboni) on Tuesday, December 03, 2019 - 12:03 pm: Edit

Sleigh Cruiser - Cyclops, Captayannis, Esmeralda

By Mike Bennett (Mike) on Tuesday, December 03, 2019 - 02:19 pm: Edit

Alternate names for Santa's Sleigh: Worrell, Calvin, Nicholas.

Any other film names for those who played Santa Claus in a movie.

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Tuesday, December 03, 2019 - 05:02 pm: Edit

Name of Santa's sleigh: "Santa's Sleigh"

That or "Rosebud"

Apologies if this is the wrong thread to suggest this, but might it also be possible to add a Starmada version of this fleet to a future issue of Captain's Log?

Also, would it be an option to collect all of the North Polar Ship Cards in the various December issues of Communiqué and offer them in a single FC ePack?

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Wednesday, December 04, 2019 - 09:08 pm: Edit

Starmada: Not in captains log, too big, needs six pages, only three available. I need to see if Dan or Terry can do it.

FC: They were all in the FC ePack posted in 2016. The five ships from 2017, 2018, 2019 will be added to that pack in a few days. Maybe Saturday.

ACTA: I screwed up and Jean uploaded the low res draft. I will send her the high res one tomorrow and she will swap it out Friday.

SFB: I did one of the cards and that gives me a head start on the rest. I may have those by Monday.

By Gary Carney (Nerroth) on Wednesday, December 04, 2019 - 09:20 pm: Edit

Thanks for the updates. I had totally forgotten about that 2016 ePack, sorry about that.

Another thought: might a sub-set of six North Polar ships work as the basis for a future Star Fleet Battle Force article?

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Thursday, December 05, 2019 - 05:18 am: Edit

Once available, perhaps.

SFB SSD for Gingerbread Attack Cruiser

I am going to post this and then let it "cook" for two (or more) days before I do all of the other SSDs. If somebody notices something we need to change, I want to change it once, not 11 times.

NORTH Gingerbread CA Sq7.jpg

This is the low rez version. If anybody wants the 300 dpi version, feel free to ask me to email it ot you. However, I plan to take tomorrow off so if I don't get your request in the next hour you may be waiting for Saturday.

It's a Fed BCH (sort of)!

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Thursday, December 05, 2019 - 05:17 pm: Edit

More of a Fed CA. Four photons, eight phaser ones, two phaser threes, two drones, 30 warp.

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Thursday, December 05, 2019 - 05:18 pm: Edit

I figured out what I did wrong. I was trying to upload it as an image not as an attachment. Silly me. I haven't done it in a while.

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Thursday, December 05, 2019 - 05:21 pm: Edit

Here is a PDF file if that is easier.

By Russ Simkins (Madcowak) on Thursday, December 05, 2019 - 11:44 pm: Edit

4 Photons, no AWR, and 30 warp. Oh we will catch you Gingerbread man.

By Terry O'Carroll (Terryoc) on Friday, December 06, 2019 - 12:47 am: Edit

Russ Simkins: Presumbably, the gingerbread man in the story was the Gingerbread-F fast gingerbread variant. :)

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Friday, December 06, 2019 - 04:11 am: Edit

6 impulse. 36 total power, about like any CA.

No doubt your BCH will eat his lunch.

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Friday, December 06, 2019 - 09:13 am: Edit

Terry, drop me an email.

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Saturday, December 07, 2019 - 02:31 pm: Edit

No comments? Okay, we're going ahead with the rest of the North Polar SSDs.

By Nick Samaras (Koogie) on Sunday, December 08, 2019 - 03:27 pm: Edit

No frigate?
