Origins Plans:

As some of you may have noted, I have not signed up for a game to play at Origins because it is my intention to demo the client at Origins. When some of you have down time, I even intend to have a second computer set up to play while we are there.

Just listened to the last episode of SFU on call. Can't wait to see F&E OL in action. Been wanting to actually play the game for 15 years now. I just discovered the Vassal mod, but I wouldn't mind an addin to SFBOL

I am trying to make an August 1 release. I added a couple of new features to the battle board this weekend. I made it floatable, which means the board itself can use the entire screen and if you have a second monitor...

I also added tooltips to the ships on the battle board. They were always on the map, but needed to add them to this area of the game.

I know these two features are minor, but I know everyone does want to know things are progressing.

I would like 2 more playtesters to see the game before now and Aug 1. I have 6 that I am using currently, but would like 2 more. If you are interested and have some time between not and Aug 1, send me an email at stburleson at comcast dot net. I know many have sent emails before, but I would like to know who might have time this month in particular.

Just a reminder. F&E Online will be a pay service. While in Beta it will be available for free for SFB Online and Fed Com Online subscribers, after it is released. It will require a F&E Online subscription.

Yeah. But as I can only have either SFBOL OR Vassal up at any given time due to low ram in my PC, (Java's being a hog), I figure the extra cash every few months will be worth it.

Hopefully, there will be a package deal similar to SFB and FC. I wouldn't pay for FCOL and it's pretty easy to find FtF players. I would for SFB and FEOL, though.

$59.95/year for the initial subscription (SFB, FC or F&E)
$79.95/year for an additional service (e.g. SFB & FC or SFB & F&E)
