Is there a Cyberboard version of F & E ?
I know there is a Vassal one, but I was looking for one for cyberboard.

Thanks.

I've seen it. No idea where it is these days.

Yes, Shayne, I use Cyberboard.

It's under "cyberboard development" thread. Download the latest game box there - though a new game box should be coming out in a few weeks.

Scott,

Are you still on schedule for a 1 August release?

By Scott Burleson (Burl) on Saturday, July 31, 2010 - 06:49 pm: Edit

No, we are not quite on schedule, but we are progressing. I think we have every feature set up that is going to be in the first release, just making sure some things are "tighter". Mainly, I am working with issues that are being found by playtesters now.

That's cool. We await eagerly.

Things I hope to see in FEOL as it develops down the road:

Integrated Econ Form with auto-fill and specific Empire's province and planet info option

Sector Maps

Text Definition Editor to add new stuff from CL

Pre-setup Scenarios

And, Finaly, an Auto-map generator for folks who want to play an Explorers Game. (Yes, I realize how above and beyond difficult this would probably be to implement right. But, boy, it'd be fun to play.)

Here's to hoping. :)

Bueller?

By Mike Curtis (Nashvillen) on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 - 09:39 am: Edit

Bueller is very busy with a real job that is paying his bills. He would apologize if he had time to even look here.

Yeah, Scott is very busy with his real life job. He is thankful he has a job that pays the bills but would like to have some time to even play FTF with his friends, let alone work on FEOL.

I 2nd that

WE are gamer

By Mike Curtis (Nashvillen) on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 - 12:00 pm: Edit

I keep reminding him that, but he says something about his work not understanding and other excuses about eating and having a roof over his head. I told him if he really had a game room the roof thing would be an excuse, but since we play at Tony's most of the time... :O

By Scott Burleson (Burl) on Thursday, October 28, 2010 - 09:13 pm: Edit

I am working on stuff as we speak, but the last six weeks have not been as good as I would have hoped. I really do think we are close to something that can be used.

HHHHHHEEEEEEYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!
He is alive......he lives......he lives........ a true gamer.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

If a computer version of F&E comes out, it would be about the greatest thing in the world.

By Daniel G. Knipfer (Dgknipfer) on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 - 06:36 pm: Edit

IF? IF!!!! Bite your tongue Jeremy!!!!

By Jeremy Scott (Jscott991) on Thursday, November 18, 2010 - 09:41 am: Edit

Apologies. :)

I just joined the thread so I wasn't sure of the state of things.

When it comes out, it will be about the greatest thing in the world. I love F&E (favorite board game by far), but it just takes so much space and between cat-related accidents and guests in the spare room, it's hard to keep it set up for the months it takes to play solo.

Are there any beta versions of this project?

How does Cyberboard work for F&E? I've never used it before, but I think F&E can be downloaded for it from boardgamegeek.

By Ted Fay (Catwhoeatsphoto) on Thursday, November 18, 2010 - 11:32 am: Edit

Cyberboard works great. Download the game box from the BBS.

By Jeremy Scott (Jscott991) on Thursday, November 18, 2010 - 11:38 am: Edit

The BBS?

By Mike Curtis (Fear) on Thursday, November 18, 2010 - 11:49 am: Edit

BBS = Bulletin Board System

This is what we are typing messages on right now.

By Jeremy Scott (Jscott991) on Thursday, November 18, 2010 - 11:51 am: Edit

Right, that's what I thought. Thanks for the link in the other thread.
