Only the Hydran reserves can go anywhere (to 0118) where they'd be out gunned and out numbered, so they stay off map.
In the Hydran theatre, the Coalition recapture a couple of minor planets, kill an HN in 0118 (and force the other offmap) and go in at 0617, kill 4PDU for a TGA(2BP) and 5 crippled cruisers and manage to escape pursuit.
In the Fed theatre, the Coalition so far have killed off a couple Fed border BATs and are currently in round four of a slugfest over third fleet starbase.
The Feds have killed a couple D7Cs so far and have lost an FFE (required kill) and both sides are piling up the cripples. Compots tend to be 160is to 120ish.
The battle continues.
The coalition seem to have accidentally left 1001 in Kzinti hands, and connected to the offmap grid. I could also send a tug to 1802 for 1 EP if I feel like it.
The Coalition got very lucky in 1607 - rolling a 6 and a 6 on VBIR gave them exactly 40 damage for 4 PDUs. Then they managed to get away from pursuit scot free.
It wasn't accidentally and it won't generate an EP on A8 as you liberated it on A7. A liberated (or newly captured) planet must go through one economic phase where it generates zero income before it generates income, essentially.
Ah, right, of course.
In any case, the fight over SB 2211 is almost done. 9 rounds of combat, and the Feds have retreated, leaving a SB with one SIDS step left.

The Klingons won't get all their ships repaired next turn, but the two-turn delay for me is going to hurt. It looks worse if you include the destruction of the starbase in the count, but I think it's still a good fight for me.
Outside of Hydrax, probably the best fight you'd get for a while.
C8 is done. Coalition retrograded to defend the Fed border (and their BATs they're setting up at 3013. The Hydran theatre received significant reinforcement (two maules, about 20ish good ships).

Alliance turn has started, my opponent might post some comments about his income. Op moves have started, Kzintis and Hydrans are going after pickets (surprising no one), the Feds have sent 13 or so ships against a MB upgrading to BATs in 3013 (the Klingons have more ships), we'll see how that goes, but otherwise haven't shown their hand as to any other intentions.

Operational movement is done for A8. Aside from the aforementioned battles, there's an ill-advised offensive against a mobile base being built and a pair of FRDs over Sherman's Planet (15 ships, against ~30 Klingons not counting cripples).

I assume the D7Cs and DN's were direct killed?
Wasn't there better Klingon ships to kill (120 compot would indicate there would have been some 10 compot+ ships on the line)?
The D7Cs and the D6 were directed, as were the DNs.
The Klingons did not have better than D7Cs on the line (apart from the flagship). A 2nd C8 was present but not on the line until the Feds retreated.
The Klingons did use two command points, on most rounds 12DBB was used. First Klingon line was something like:

There weren't - he started with:

And yes, the big ships were directed. I didn't put as many ships in 2211 as I should have, as I expected more than one target to be hit. I'm okay with the result, overall, but I'm definitely losing (which is why I'm trying the risky plays this turn). If I can't blow up the base in 3013, at least, I don't see a way back in.
That said, I'm committed to playing it out, and I'm going to go down fighting!

The Alliance did poorly this turn, with its few attacks rather anemic and causing them to lose cruisers for frigates. The Kzinti have a small presence on map, with a fleet sitting over 1001. The Hydrans are just as stubborn about their capital as ever - not much has changed in that theatre. The Federation have most of their fleet (44 hulls) in 2306 with 6PDU and a MB being converted to a BATS.

C9 is wrapping up. Among a few other battles (notably the successful destruction of the base being upgraded in 2306), the Coalition hit the Hydran capital again. This time, though, the Hydrans rolled super well - 5,4,5 against the coalition's 1,1,5. They took out 2BC D6M STT and lost 4PDU RN, but they also managed to capture the STT! I'm looking forward to causing problems with that.

This turn on the Hydran theatre, the Coalition continues their siege of Hydrax, destroying 4 PDU there. They also re-devastated the non-capital planets in the system, though this did cost them when they assaulted Hyreark in the Hydrax system and the Hydrans sent a fleet, killing an STT while losing a RN, the STT then being captured by the Hydrans.
At Hydrax itself, the Hydrans killed a D6M and 5BCs were crippled (the Coalition sent a line of dreadnoughts, battle tugs, a mauler and Lyran BCs). Pursuit resulted in a crippled Hydran LM and destroyed two crippled Lyran BCs.
In the Kzinti theatre, the Kzintis started with about a battle force worth of a carrier based fleet on minor planet 1001. The rest of the Kzintis (including two good reserves) were off map. When an FF reacted from 1001 to 1101 (creating a battle hex), the Coalition saw opportunity to force the Kzintis off 1001 (possibly offmap by forcing them to the battle hex in 1101) and in any case leaving a force retreating from 1001 out of supply or offmap (even with reserves in play).
This worked well, the Kzinti losing a CVL and CLE, but the Coalition also unwisely sent a single ship to capture 1802, which the Kzintis promptly destroyed with one of the reserve fleets.
So the goal of leaving no Kzinti fleets able to reach Klingon space failed.
In the Fed theatre, the Klingons pressed further with attacks. The Feds had a MB being converted to a BATs at Cygnus (major 2306) and had increased the PDU there to 6. Seeing that if the Coalition didn't stop this now, the Feds could plausibly deploy enough ships there to keep me pinned out on C10 (and thereby upgrade that pending BATs to a SB safely), there was no choice but to go into the meat grinder and reduce the PDUs and destroy the MB.
This was done (the Klingons retreating once the MB went down), but it was costly for the Coalition, the Klingons losing a C8 and the Lyrans a BC in addition to ending up with a crippled d7c 4d5 f5 2f5s as well as a few additional ships being lost.
At 2010, the Feds had increased the PDUs to 4 and had set up a MB (not being converted to a BATs at this time) and a few ships defending, the Klingons sent their fleet (about 25 ships) guarding the BATs-<SB conversion at 3013 to attack here, but reserves showed, and after a declined approach battle retreated.
The Klingons did succeed at two targets, minor planet 2509 and BATS 2308 (where no defending ships were available).
The Coalition also moved an FRD forward to 2108 so as to be able to gather retrograding ships at a point closer to targets deeper in Fed space, the Lyrans are upgrading a MB to a BATs at planet 910 and have an FRD there as well.

A9 eco and op moves are done, no Coalition reserves ended up moving. All picket fights and poorly garrisoned planet liberations, except for a big fight in Fed space in 2108 where the Klingons have an FRD and a bunch of ships and the Feds have a bit more in ships but a bit less in firepower. A lot of ships here so the FRD will certainly die if the Feds want to do it.
I had enough to pin everything within six hexes, I had decided to risk him noting he could use some ships seven hexes away to help open the path, which he turned out to do.

A9 is wrapping up, with the Federation happy they could kill an FRD but sad they couldn't stop the SB in 3013 from being built (They didn't have enough in range to avoid being pinned out). The Hydrans made a massive error, leaving about a third of the fleet trapped offmap. If Richard wants to take Hydrax, I'm fairly confident he'll do it on C10.
The Feds would have been happy with a longer fight in 2107 over the FRD, but the Klingons didn't want any of it and lost the FRD in the first round of combat, leaving immediately thereafter.

C10 eco is done. Things in my life have been complicated, slowing the progress of this game (and other things).
Back in the day, Michael Calhoon always advocated building another SPC to more quickly start offmap survey, so I did an SP?->SPC conversion.
Generally SK? are best build as SKs (for garrison fodder using cloaked evasion) or SKEs (especially once BHs run out). K5s on the other hand, get no leader bonus and can't be converted to escorts, so they are good candidates for scout conversions, so I converted a couple. SUPs are too expensive for what you get (at least in basic) and don't stack well in battle forces (too vulnerable to destruction if not escorted) so I'm not planning on building any this game. I might build an SUB prior to CNVs being available, but not sure yet.
