The various "extra" reserve fleets tend to have non-deletable comments on them, i.e. Gorn 3rd reserve fleet, Kzinti 3rd reserve fleet.

In general, I think all comments on counters should be deletable.

Well I cant verify this at present but I think its an either or situation.

The text can be deleted in the Gamebox and you would have no text in the scenario but I believe would be able to add it.

I thought when I last played the scenario allowed me to add a ship name to every new ship produced.

SO it might be the case of the counter being locked (which i think is an option).

The counter is locked and not locked. You can change the text. One thing to make the "Early Beginnings" or "Non Historical Game" text go away is to delete it and just a blank space.
NOTE: The x will remain as a reminder of text when you click on the counter in question.

To make the text disappear completely, you need to open up the gamebox in the CBDesign.exe. Highlight the counter name in question under the Playing Pieces Groups. Double click on the counter. Delete the offending text and click ok. Then save the gamebox. As long as you don't move a counter or delete a counter nothing will change in any games you have going using that current gamebox.

Personally, I prefer the reminders for those Reserve Fleets that are there for non-historical games.

Not a biggie....but for those looking for the Klingon Northern Fleet counter - you may find it hidden underneath the Imperial War Reserve 'Squad 3' counter (IWR Box) in the Klingon Capital Chart.

Randomly found it the other day!

Haven't found the IRW Squad 1 or Squad 2 counters yet.

Lar, there are no Fed Diplomat counters. Markers, yes, but no counters. Or am I not seeing them?

The Federation Diplomat counters are in the Markers and Special Units tray. If they are not there, then look in the Federation Home Fleet tray.

In The Wind scenario zipped and linked above the Feds are uniquely without diplomat counters (even in 1st (Home) Fleet and in the Markers and Special Units tray, which is odd. Most home fleets (all?) are without Strategic Operations units except DTs, which is also odd since all non-home fleets do have their SO units. One Kzinti DT is in the Count Fleet, which is random.

Using the Fed Diplo marker is not the end of the world, but the poor Feds may feel singled out.

Counter number realignment continues. This includes cutting or adding counters to fit the new expanded Minor Empires as well as updating the existing counters for factorial corrections done to the SIT and CLog additions since past release.

Current overall completion number is 68% complete with 6 of the largest races completed to 99%.

It takes a full day to walk through an entire group and that includes all the little 'tweaks'.

Rarely I have full days to dedicate, but I am within striking distance of getting this ready for a June release (and that is The Plan).
