Status: 09/15/2021

The Cyberboard Gamebox file has been updated and populated for all empires except the Civil War Romulans and Civil War Kzinti. I just sent the file for Turtles review (and will continue to add the two CW empire counters as we go).

It is entering final check status but the bulk of the update is completed. Turtle and I will run through the Google Sheets to make sure I havent missed anything apparent and easily fixed.

Once that is done the box should be ready for Scenario Set-up Construction phase.

This typically happens beginning with the General War Y168F T1 set up. From there many of the variants can be created.

There are new alternate maps so some new Scenarios from the new products will be available this time. (I am excited to set up and play the Vudar-LDR-Hydran Vs Klingons Scenario so I will build that one)

When all of the Scenarios are built I will package the box and the scenarios into separate zip files like we have now and send them to ADB for their upload. I will not send finished files out to anyone individually. Once they are uploaded to ADB anyone can pull them down and use them. Older games you have going will NOT work with the new box. You would have to start a fresh game.

It has been a long 7+ year project (I usually do these in +/- 3yrs but real life intervened).

Scenarios we had in the past:
The Squall: Used for Training
The Wind (GW set up T1)
The Wayward Wind (GW T1 Alternate start)
From Clog: Cloudburst (Delayed Start GW with Orions)...This is just FUN!
The Hurricane (603.0) Mid-GW start
The Four Power War (Pre GW conflict between Lyr-Kzi-Kling-Hydr)

Tell us what you would like in addition to the above and if we can accommodate we will.

Notes:
Free Campaigns or the Early Beginnings Scenarios can be set up with this as this box has blank maps. The nice thing about EB is that the map grows as you build it so minimal work initially.
Free Campaigns on existing maps would be relatively simple and may likely use one of the existing scenarios with pre-populated counter trays.
A Free Campaign on a blank map would be a much harder endeavor.

No Worries Mike, we can get started and maybe you can 'proof' the scenarios to make sure we haven't missed anything before sending them off to ADB for final posting.

The main scenario most others are built upon is the T1 opening to the GW (and the associated OOBs). Once we make sure that is correct we expand outward.

Update:
Since Mike/Turtle were both busy I have started the main file build myself. Its been slow and steady due to my travels to Michigan to see my parents and a wedding in Portland Oregon. I am back in CA now with the Kzinti-Lyrans-Hydrans set up done. I will set all starting OOBs in this first iteration and then call the first scenario done using that to build out the next and the next. It makes the others way easier to build/modify (no matter who does them).

The good news is I noticed a good size error that I was able to correct that would have probably had to have anyone else who started it have to begin again.

Yeah we have been working on it slowly...

I have some technical issues with the board in both player and designer itself (lost the trays and color palette off board somewhere when switching from three monitors to two when I lost one). I have recovered the trays in CBplayer.
I still need to find the color palette in CBdesigner. Last weeks attempt borrowing an OLD monitor from work failed.

I do have some time off coming up that should result in a bit of progress. (Also noting a VERY nice 32" adjustable height monitor has gone on sale through the end of the month at Costco with a 165 refresh rate for $229.)

It is a tool like VASL allowing you to play various board games on your computer. Unlike VASL it is not interactive, meaning you do not see the other person's moves until they send you a file, or in the case of movement with the possibility of reaction you communicate with the other person in some way.
