The Feds have a CLC as well, don't they? I know SFC has a CLC based off of the NCL hull, but I remember a note specifically stating that the CLC was in fact a command version of the CL(which SFC1 did not have) rather than the NCL(which already had a leader variant, the NCC.)

I like it, so long as there is no CR gain, just AV.

The FH was "created" in Advanced Ops Playtesting, and it has "shock", it got removed from AO because of counters limitations, and the introduction of the FFK/FKE made it obsolete.

Who would build a FH that shocks, when they can build a FFK?

That depends; can I sub the FH for a FF? You could still sub/build your FKs as well. What's the build cost/compot of the FH? Last I remember it cost 3EP and was a 5/3. I'd sub one of these every opportunity I could get.

Back to the topic:

I believe I remember reading something about a Snipe-C (frigate leader) and Battlehawk-B (destroyer leader) somewhere? Were these units "official" or conjectural?

John: Battlehawk-B and Snipe-C can be found here. Both were built in the SFB history (though only 1 SNC), but the ships themselves have never been printed in an official module (AFAIK, SFT ships are still playtest).

The Kzinti FH is available Y160. It is described as being an unsuccesful leader variant, but its command rating (3) is the same as the standard FF. And it rolls for shock.

A generic Police Ship shouldn't have a 'leader' under (303.5) as a Police Flagship as most flagships would only be a 2(1EW)-3 or 2(1EW)-4 if you are lucky.

You might eventually have 'heavy policeships' (if they are ever introduced for others besides Lyrans) fall into a Police Ship Leader under (303.5).

IE: 2 Lyran Pol+Lyran MP=2*4+5=13COMPOT

Scott, currently, the FLG is the police 'leaders' even though some races do have a police leader (Klg G2C for example) but all races have a FLG (and its factors could be added to these rules)...
