This was brought up at Origins as a wish and it was granted provided the players compiled most of the information and did not leave it up to SVC or the staff to come up with the whole thing. This made complete sense, since the players would be the folks using it.

This item would replace the existing index provided as a reprint in CO. It would appear in some future product or possibly like the SIT be an online thing (I kind of like the online idea). Anyway we the players need to look at the pages 45-48 of CO and come up with things that should be included.

The idea of it being a cross idex is that things would appear multiple times (if necessary) to provide extra opportunity fo a player to access a rule and get a question answered. It does do this on several occassions now but needs to be expanded with the new rules, products that are in place as well as adding what the players constantly look up. Nick feel free to chime in on this one all you want.

As an example:
Under "R" we have Retreat, fighting: 302.77 we also have under "F" Fighting Retreat: 302.77

This works and helps the players find the info quickly when they go to the book. Many more things can & should be added here.

Lar are you talking about the really good index in the revised 2010 rulebook, or a cross index like SFB has in CL14 (which I hope has been updated and is available somewhere online). The SFB cross index from CL14 lists the Rules, e.g. (G5.0) Probes, then lists all the various interactions with other rules such as Scout, blinding (G24.1344).
