Bug Report:
During the Speed Change Phase, when right-clicking on the ship counter to accelerate (right-click, select Accelerate, click yes in the confirmation dialog), the acceleration notice doesn't display the +1 speed in the chat window until the next phase is advanced. The ship accelerates properly (and the energy is correctly reduced), the notice in the chat window is simply not displayed until the next phase, which can become somewhat confusing.

This does not occur when clicking the +1 button on the Movement tab (ie, the acceleration notice is displayed instantly in the chat window).
