Perhaps a better question is "How complete is it supposed to be?"
I'm looking at the FC_MASTER_SHIP_CHART_3_CL42.xls that is available on this website.
When i filter this spreadsheet on column E (Miniature) and select only Border Box 1, the only ship that comes up is the Fed CC Command Cruiser.
(according to http://www.starfleetgames.com/federation/border_box.shtml , these are actually CA cruisers, but I digress)
Ships like the Fed FF and the Fed CL are correctly listed as being in Squadron Box #1, but nowhere on the spreadsheet does it also list them as being in Border Box #1 (which they are).
Upon further review, in addition to being able to filter on "Border Box 1", I can also filter on "BorderBox 1", which shows only the Tholian Cruiser.
There are at least 8 other ship classes that are in Border Box 1, but are not listed as such on the spreadsheet.
Anyhow, I get similar results filtering on Border Boxes 2 through 5. Then I stopped looking.
Perhaps nobody cares, thinking that this isn't a big deal and folks can find the information elsewhere (true).
Or perhaps it matters because some customers may think the spreadsheet is the only place on the site that has all of this information for all the races in one spot (true), and they will be left thinking that the only place they can get ship XYZ is in the listed squadron box, not knowing that it is also available in a Border Box.
Different question/subject.
Stock #4300 - Squadron Box Zero. What is it? This page
http://www.starfleetgames.com/federation/squadron_box.shtml
does not list it. This page
http://www.starfleetgames.com/federation/product_list.shtml
does.
Different question/subject.
Back to this spreadsheet. The Fed Scout, the Fed Scout (FJ) and the Free Trader are listed as belonging to "Fed Box 2". What is that? |

IIRC, Squadron Box Zero was a set of minis that matched the playtest ship cards included in the playtest Booster Zero.
Since the units in Booster Zero have now been included in the game through various other additions, this product is superfluous and most likely no longer available. _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

Ah... well. I didn't look hard enough and made an assumption. Shame on me.
thanks for catching that, Paul. _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro
