I meant B5's production company was looking for a quick buck, not Mongoose.
I am a bug Mongoose fan. Traveller is excellent, and they brought back Paranoia, one of the greatest RPGs ever (and to think other wise would make you a commie mutant traitor- all hail the our friend the Computer). |

1-3125 is actually bigger than 1-3788.
The CA saucer is 33mm in staline 2400 and 40mm in 2500. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

Cool! For some strage reason I had 1/2400 scale stuck in my brain for Starline scale. I'm so glad I was wrong in that matter.
I contacted them and had a VERY positive response. Good news all around as the scale difference isn't that much. As I have most of the minis line drawn already, all I have to do is adjust the size to match the new scale and do some virtual test fitting. Of course the true test will be fitting to a prototype. Just have to wait and see. Can't wait. _________________ Assumptions and Conclusions are not facts. |

When I got back into the Star Fleet Universe just recently after my hiatus since the '80s, I had decided I wasn't going to buy or collect any miniatures. I planned to just use counters like I do with my other war games.
SO MUCH FOR THAT PLAN!!
I'm just afraid I am too blind now to paint them properly! _________________ EDIT: I seldom post without an edit. |

Then the larger size miniature is *perfect* for you! |

Ooooh! Larger size!
Now instead of just painting the windows... I can paint crew members inside the ships! _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

Just think... Juggernauts are part of the 2400 line... so eventually Mongoose will be doing resin Juggernauts that are even bigger than the existing metal version... _________________ "Captain" Terry O'Carroll, fourteen papers published including six best of issue

I would love to have a 1/7000 fleet scale versions, but I think that was tried before and did not fare well. |

Here's the link to the computer designed master of the Federation CA. The images start near the top of the page.
Model #1 of the Klingon D7 can be found here, near the bottom of the page. This design incorporated several features that were more in line with the later, movie-era versions of the D7... so version #2 was created.
So far, no other images have been posted, but many of us are waiting with baited breath. _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro
