Lyran BC. The "Homeworld" paint scheme was based on art by Ted Geibel.
And here's the BC with its progenitor, the CL, done in the same paint scheme:
The Lion dreadnought:
Tiger CA:
Tug:
Destroyer and Frigate:
War Cruiser and War Destroyer:
And the "One big, happy fleet!":

| Freaky... Almost a year to the day since the last post. October must be "the month of the Lyran". |

One more heavy cruiser picture. There is less contrast with the background but slightly better focus for the windows, bridge and engines.
The windows are custom decals that I did on the home computer with my wife's help.
On the engines I used a new (for me) technique of a layer of gold paint covered by a layer of clear red. (I learned this from the StarfighterDecals decal/painting guides when doing my Federation ship engines.)
The other Lyran ships (shown above) simply use a plain red.
This is the last Lyran miniature completed and my favorite Lyran miniature right now.

Not posting in October... Couldn't wait. A friend of mine painted these and I suggested posting them here:

Heres some of my Lyran fleet ships:
The Single Tooth Lion Mauler DN - I think I might have painted it in the wrong faction, since there was only the one made
Squadron Box 25... its 3/5 Lyran and Lyran allies haha
Big Lyran Fleet - I forgot to add a few ships, PFs and whatnot. Not all of these are finished, some were from an ebay auction years ago and were already painted, and some need to be repainted haha.
