You might be a Romulan if nobody worries about you when they can't see you.

(5G5b) Partial Reload

5G5 in the Rev5 rulebook is well worth a read over. There are some subtleties to reloading and repairing drone racks that are very handy to know about.

MJW> Is partial reloading limited to one repair point (and there for one drone) per turn? It is quite clear that only one ...

One very nice thing ADB does is to make updates available to players rapidly and economically.

I just purchased Romulan Border and got the Rev 5 rulebook at no extra charge. My Klinon Border has Rev 4, and I have printed off at least one version of the CRUL (Consolidated Rules Updae List) available ...

I don't have the answer on how many Phaser 3s you can fit.

My guess as to "why?" is the same as to "Why anything in FC?" because of some non-game "real" world circumstance.

For some reason an Orion captain may only have access to the inferior Phaser 2s when fitting phasers to his option mounts ...

I also would argue that the logic of a hit and run raid would require the shield to be down for the full phase.

The marines have to beam over, attack their target, beam back. To be able to drop shields and conduct a raid is barely believable to me. To drop shields, beam marines over, hit the target ...

Tugs in FC

I realize this has the potential to open a huge can of worms....

IIRC there are currently no tugs in FC, nor are there plans to add them.

There are some nice tug minis out there with current use for FC players.

Is there any reason why a tug towing a pod(s) should not substiture for the Light ...

It sounds like you have "created a monster" :) She's going to get smarter and probably only going to get better at the game.

That's what I am afraid of...

She's a good kid, and playing "that Star Trek game" with her is a great way to share quality time.

At a quick glance I like the ship mixes for the proposed boxes.

The ability to use most of the ships for both MY and GW games is a definite plus.

I would probably buy a couple of these if they were made available.

I don't think SVC is saying MY didn't sell well per se, just that it didn't sell equal to six other products combined. So sales were not comensurate with the work required to produce it.

My nine year old daughter has taken to FC like a duck to water.

I announce each step of the play sequence for her and she does the rest.

I think any motivated player should do just fine. If they want to play, they will learn. FC seems a lot easier than Pokemon and Magic.

Baseline 16 seems popular and overall the most generally useful. But plotting speed 24 when you need mvement priority or need to move a long distance fast is great.

My daughter has now discovered deceleration, nothing like not moving when you are expected to to throw off your oponent's plans.

My Fed FFG vs her Klink F5.

I took the torpedo hit from her dsruptors, on a nice juicy overloaded photon that I didn't have arc to ire at her. :(

I need to stop trying to teach the game and fly at the same time, she's getting to good or that.
