ESG Burst

Thanks, guys. I remember playing Starfleet Command on the PC and the graphic was a sphere that looked like it enveloped the entire enemy ship. That's why I was asking :)

ESG Offensive Burst

How is the damage resolved when you use an ESG as an Offensive Burst? Does it go to the facing shield of the opponent's ship or does the damage get dispersed across all of the ship's shields, like a hellbore?

Offensive Fire Declaration

Thanks for answering all of my other questions, everyone. Here is another...

What is the proper procedure for Offensive Fire declaration?

For example, if I decide to fire and the other captain wants to fire as well, does he wait until I specifically say which weapons are firing at which targets ...

Reloading a drone rack

The rules say a drone rack cannot be reloaded on a turn in which it fired a weapon(5G5a). Does this include the firing of an anti-drone or are they not considered "weapons"?

Regenerating a downed shield

It looks like I have been playing under the assumption that a shield that has been completely destroyed CANNOT be regenerated during the Energy Allocation phase.

After reading the rules again, it says ANY shield can be regenerated at two energy per box.

Is this correct? A shield that has lost all ...

I thought there was shield burn through for every 10 points of damage a volley does. For example, a volley of 21 points would have 2 burn throughs. Is there a maximum of 1 burn through per volley?

Thanks, guys. Makes sense to me.

Had a slugfest yesterday between my Romulan KR7 and his Klingon D7C. A miscalculated shot with all of my plasmas sent him running away but at a pace that dissolved my plasmas after 6 impulses (ugh...another three turns to load). That was a critical miscalculation ...

Movement effect on cloaking

The rules state that a ship that moves more than two hexes in a single impulse will void the cloak. So if the ship is moving at a Baseline Speed of 16 and pays for acceleration in the impulse but pays for deceleration in the same impulse, will that count as two hexes or three?

For example, the turn ...

Reverse Movement's effect on Turn Mode requirement

Hi all,

I just finished my third game of FC and am enjoying it very much. Something occurred in the last game that doesn't quite make sense to me so I wanted to bring it up here. During Turn #1 my opponent was moving at a Baseline Speed of 16 and ended the turn at the same speed and having ...
