Free Trader deck plans
Once upon a time, these plans were on the player resources page, but now I can't seem to find them. Have they been removed?

Web deterioration
Getting serious about webs after all these years :? Question: suppose a ship trapped in a web has expended 19 of the 20 movement points required to free itself. Then at the end of the turn, the web deteriorates to a strength of 19. Is the ship moved ahead immediately, or must it wait until impulse 1 ...

Tholian pinwheel
A Tholian pinwheel is surrounded by a 6-hex globular web-- is the pinwheel able to reinforce the web or does it require another ship?

Boarding Parties
Are boarding parties rooted to their ship, or can they "loaned out" to another friendly ship? I don't mean to help defend the other ship, but rather to have one ship in the fleet act as the "labor pool."

turn/slip
Some time ago I read a thread by someone who'd devised a system to mark turns and slips with one marker. Does anyone recall that? I have also come up with a system and it's going through some teething pain. I'd like to review that other system to see how it resolves certain problems.

Drone sequence
Two ships (Klingon & Kzinti) exchange direct fire at a range of 1, with each ships #2 shield facing the enemy. On the ensuing launch phase, the Kzinti launches a stack of drones at the Klingon, but doesn't point them directly at the Klingon-- he points them to the hex aligned with his own #3 shield ...

Thank you Mr. Nimoy
Thank you Leonard Nimoy for inspiring me to look up, and to look forward. As a kid, we would play Star Trek and I had the honor of being Mr. Spock, because I had the best neck-pinch
I can't speak for others, but you are a big reason I still play this silly little game.

damge to plasmas
I think our group is doing something wrong regarding plasma torpedoes. Since it takes 2 points of phaser damage to reduce the warhead by 1, any volley that carries an odd number of hit points has that last point dropped. But rule 4J3c seems to indicate that the odd point is retained and added to any ...

Paul B, I get what you're saying, and I agree. We are limited in our sessions because we have to play in the small window of time between when everyone gets off work, and when the game store closes. Fleet scale games have always been out of the question, so this system allows us to get in some epic ...
