Module Y2 description?
Is there a concise description of Module Y2 available that I can import into Board Game Geek's database? The one in CL#36 is a little cryptic for a non-SFB player like me. I'm mainly looking for subject and contents.
It would be something like:
_____________________________________________
Module Y2 is a super-sized followup to Module Y1: The Early Years. It has more ships and scenarios than Module Y1, and highlights the early history of a much ignored empire: the Interstellar Concordium.
A deep look at the formation of the Interstellar Concordium is taken. The member races started as a group of squabbling mini-empires fighting over limited resources, yet eventually developed into a powerful empire devoted to keeping the peace.
But the other empires introduced in the first Early Years module are not forgotten. All get new ships, new classes, and further development in their fleets and histories.

No, there aren't going to be racial national guards.
The ships for the separate ISC races were so old and obsolete (far older than other national guard ships in the galaxy) as to be useless.
The ISC do have "older, local defense" versions of the two-barrel ISC ships in Module R8.

As Steve said, there will be no racial national guard ships for the sub-races of the ISC. Just as there aren't any for the Federation, either.
However, in Y2, each of the ISC races has a fleet of pre-unification ships. These ships were sublight ships updated to use tactical warp engines and (quickly afterwards) tactical warp weapons. It is these ships that are presented in Y2.
The ISC also has their first "unified" fleet, which are "two-fingered", like the later national guard ships shown in R8.
[BTW, I think you and Steve talked past each other. You said "national guard" which implies ships during the MY or GW time periods. In fact the Federation and ISC "racial ships" are not national guard ships, but rather ships used prior to full unification.]
