Hi.
You may by now have seen Adam Turner's beautiful work on the Federation X-technology cruiser - the SFU's equivalent of TV/Movie-Trek's 'refit'-prise.
However, I wonder how much of an interest there is in having one commissioned for release as a Starline mini - or perhaps also a variant saucer which included the sensor dishes required to turn it into a GSX?
While there may not likely be room for X-tehnology ships in FC for some time, SFB gamers would be able to get stuck in - and fans of SFU miniatures would be able to admire this design, also.
Compared to other miniatures which await production, would you rate the 'new' CX highly on your wish list?
Fed CX mini?

I went into some detail on the other BBS but the money to do a CX mini just doesn't add up. Sadly, Adam does not know much about 3d casting and did not do "the model" in a way it can be turned into a mini. It would have to be done over ($700 minimum), then printed in plastic, converted into metal, and have molds made. About $1300 before you have one metal ship to sell. Given the total sales numbers in nine years for the Fed CA and Klingon D7, it would take about 14 years to break even if we charged the "standard" $7.95 per ship.

If the Fed CX has troubles in terms of getting it into mini form, what of the Klingon DX?
