Sorry SVC, Not being an engineer, I don't know what they are called on regular blueprints or schematics. I mean the lines used to point out what certain parts of the drawing are, such as things like the phasers and the main gangway hatch, covers for the escape pods, Reaction-thusters. Stuff like that.
I tend to confuse the really big ships for some reason, but the current CVA is the Big Mac, right? In that case...phdillman wrote:Any of the current CVA?

Yeah, if I put that, I think SVC would kill me, or at least kick me in the naughty bits or something. (I've done similar stuff with the Technical Manual ships, with permission, and am doing an archive of the FASA TOS ships as well, again with permission.)djdood wrote:They are indeed called 'callouts' on aviation blueprints/drawings. I don't know about any other industries.
However, I think if Neal did that, you have Leanna's Fighting Starships for free and why would anyone buy the book if they can download it?
Making one for the Feddies for SFB, though, would kill Leanna's Fighting Starships, though...

So, if you want to logo your own ship, you can copy-paste the banners easily.Nerroth wrote:Do you still have those Auroran decals from before, for ships like the POL and CL - or FRA FF and CL, if you prefer?
Noted!
(I wonder if there might be room in the entries for the CL and POL sections of LFS for the FRA schemes to be added - akin to the entries one sometimes sees in flight journals showing aircraft operated by air forces other than that in the producing country?)
