You could also pick up module C4. That's the simulator races. Lot's of folks like the Frax (I do!) The bretonians are an interesting change of pace, too.

If you're interested in gunboats and fighters, try Modules K and J. Word of advice though...don't talk about either one of these on the board. I know the fighters for non-hydran races are a very touchy subject with everyone and I think the gunboats are too. Heck, I'm getting close to the line just mentioning them.

If you review the past threads on PFs / fighters in Federation Commander - they invariably degenerate into a flame war as everyone espouses their favorite theories about how these units should work and it will ultimately be SVC's decisions as to why / how they are introduced into Fed Comm.

It will much easier to wait until he releases the draft 1 play test rules and then make comments / suggestions based on the way he intends to go forward; rather than attempt to out-guess him, get used to playing the way you think they should be done, then become totally disenchanted when the actual rule is nothing like the way you've been playing them...

Well, in that case and since you were trying to help - you get 5 hours in the booth listening to William Shatner's Greatest Hits as opposed to 5 hours listening to Rosanne Barr singing the National Anthem... over and over and over and over and over and over...

I better pick up a set too. Probably wear the first set out in 2-3 hours.

Agonizer booth or "The Shat" singing (I use the term loosely) for 5 hours. Tough choice, no real winners there...

Well, if it were star trek hits, that'd be my choice.

Have you ever heard Shatner's so-called album?

I've heard better music coming from a heavy metal band attempting to play blue-grass music on East Indian sitars and bouzoukies while simultaneously babysitting a Cub Scout den and attempting to herd cats!

Actually if you got the den to try herding the cats you could just watch and be completely amused...maybe
