Wyn Option Mounts

In FC, are the any posted limits on how many, of a certain type of weapon a WYN ship can have in its Fleet? The only one I could find was in reguards to Hellbores. Is there any limits on Photons & Plasmas, or any other weapon for that matter?

The ship cards themselves usually say Distruptors, drones, or ph-1's. I think the hellbores are an exception to that rule and those are the only four weapons available.

Hellbores have deployment restrictions in WYN (and Orion) option mounts, too.

So, WYN have no access to Plasma, Photons, or Fusions?

In SFB, they have a fed POL, a Gorn FF, and a Romulan SEA.

In FC, I don't think they have any of those weapons (though you could use the SFB SSD's)

The WYN are predominantly restricted to the weapons of the Lyrans, Kzinti, and Klingons. For option mounts, that means disruptors, Ph-1s, and drones. Specific ships will show their specific allowable weapons. It is expected that Orion ships owned by the WYN will also have their weapons restricted to those, also.

That being said, the WYN do have examples of just about every weapon, so, as a special scenario rule, it is possible that a WYN ship could have weapons outside that list (e.g. photon, Pl-F, hellbore, fusion, Ph-G). But that is very rare.

(Note that this applies to their auxiliary ships and Orion ships. Their "fish" ships are always restricted to Ph-1s and drones since their option mounts are purely secondary weapons.)
