Wyn Captured / Purchased Ships & Hydran / lyran BS

Are the WYN Captured/Purchased Lyran, Klingon, & Kzinti Ships going to be printed as part of BoM or are they slated for a seperate book?


Also is the a Comm or CL with the Hydran & Lyran Bats in it?

I think the Hydran and Lyran BATS use the same generic type card as other races, although the weapons fit is not printed on the cards because they were released before Distant Kingdoms. There's something in the Q&A in Comm #30 about it, it says:

"Use the same assignments as given for the base
station. This means the WPN boxes are hellbores for
the Hydrans and disruptors for the Lyrans, and that the
drones are Stingers for the Hydrans and ESGs for the
Lyrans. (This does mean that the mobile base won’t have
Stingers or ESGs.) The Hydrans and the LDR do not get
Ph-G, just as they don’t on the base station."

Yup that helps, but it brings up another question, How many Stingers & is their cost included inthe price of the Bats.

I think it's just one stinger per "DRN" box - not 6 like the SB has. As for whether their points are included, a very good question. I suspect the singers are not included, in that most ships have a point value and then pay extra for the fighters. I know this would leave the Hydran BATS paying a drone rack price for a fighter bay, but then Hellbores are (I think) a higher-cost weapon than say a disruptor, so perhaps this balances out. Without having individual ship cards for each race's BATS (or at least a published list of points values for each race) then this will be a bit of a compromise.

It is just one Stinger per drone box.

The cost of the Stingers is not included. Each Stinger costs 10 Points.

Those will eventually be done.

Might be a good idea to do them in CL39? I was looking for something useful to fill those slots.
