Smokey and the Bandit XLIII: the 23rd Century

Post by Scoutdad »

Since I had a "Bandit Shipping" freighter; I decided I needed the "Bandit" to go with it:

- but then who'd chase them?
The answer was surprisingly easy - the USS Buford T. Justice!
Here's the action as it unfolds:

Nicely done Tony. It's great that you made the whole set.

Wifey says "That is awesome".

IT wouldn't have looked right w/o Buford...

Wifey says "Now you have to do a General Lee [FedEx] and another [Pol] USS Roscoe P. Coltrain".

Bah. Boss Hogg would have to be a HF/Ore-Carrier.

I thought of that... but a plain, white Ore Carrier wouldn't be any fun to paint. At least the APT I could spruce up with some color and some chrome and some gee-gaws...

That is truly, insanely, mindbogglingly amazing.
The hand painted 'screamin' chicken' logo looks outstanding, the 'Bandit' artwork is beautiful on the sides of the large freighter, and the U.S.S. B. T. Justice was a great giggle.

PS: if you do the Dukes, don't forget to do a U.S.S. Enos Strate, too!

Who said anything about paint?
I'm thinking decals, my friend. Wave of the future.
A little photoshop work goes a l-o-n-g ways (especially on a l-o-n-g ship).

But if you're going to kep it true to form...

Boss Hogg drove a plain, white Caddy Convertible. No visible frills...

But I'm open to suggestions, if you have any.

Well, you could put the longhorn hood ornament on the side to dress it up a bit.
