Good thing I'm bringing some of those "low-down, dirty-rotten, methane-breathing, trashcan-looking" Hydrans...

I'm not too worried about spoilers. I hae a guy working for me that pours over every spoiler site on the web and talks about it incessantly. I've been hearing BSG spoilers for months now.

I doubt I'll get to watch it Friday since I'll be driving from Middle TN to the Gulf Coast on Friday evening...

So what time is everyone planning on getting together for the big FC game? I think Scoutdad mentioned having some other scheduled things going on, so I guess it's his schedule we need to work around.

The only other thing I want to do is get with Ken Burnside and sit in on a demo of Squadron Strike. Other than that, I'm open...

I have your cell phone numbers. I will call Friday night or Saturday morning to set the time. This is my first con and not sure what to expect. There is nothing that I really must see so I am open. Its kind of a "take it all in" experience for me.

Current schedule is to leave Murfreesboro, TN 'round about 8:00 a.m. on Friday and reach Biloxi about dinner time Friday... spend the night at my daughters place...
arrive at teh Convention Center 'round about 8:00 .m. Saturday so as to expedite he registration process.
After that, it's wander the show a bit... visit the dealer room before all the good stuff is gone...
Then it's get down to playing some games with my boon companions...

I haven't been to this con before, so does anyone know how close the parking is? I'm thinking that if I bring my minis, ship cards, rules, etc I can just leave them in the car until/unless they're needed and run out and pick them up. If it's a three block walk though I really don't want to do that.
You can park in the lot right outside the Coliseum, how close you can get depends on how early you get there, but the last time I went we would get there around opening time and didn't have to walk very far.

Wish I could too, not necessairily for the con but the game sounds like it'll be good.

Needless to say, I'm expecting you guys to post an after-action report.... :D

Update from Ad Astra Games, re: Gaming Schedule

Here's the Schedule for CoastCon:
Friday:
7:00 pm - Squadron Strike

Saturday:
9:00 am - Birds of Prey
2:00 pm - SITS
6:00 pm - Worlds of Honor

I am definitely in for the SITS game.
I want to play BoP, as well... registration delays permitting - since I want to but it... but would rather play it before shelling out $100+ for the game (and no telling how much more for minis... stands... adaptors...)

Other than that, I have no particular plans.

I think HoD K'el was planning on signing up for Birds of Prey. I plan to also.

We could get in a FC game in between those events.

Sorry. I must've missed the Bird of Prey you sent to pick me up. Guess they forgot to decloak.

Had a blast and I can't wait until next year!

Scoutdad, hope you made it back okay and don't forget to include the Gorn (Romulan) Ancor you did to me in the report. I am still hurting from that one :D . I haven't looked at all of my pics yet, but I plan to post them this week. It was sure nice meeting you, your son-in-law, and Crimin.

Crimin, I am going to check with those guys in B.R. when I get a chance and will keep you posted.
