Wow - that looks pretty cool!! :D
Nothing is quite as persuasive as a disruptor pistol on slow burn and a rotisserie......

Want to playtest? If you actually will do it between now and 25 June, Email me (posts here won't be found) and I'll send you a ship and a scenario. Call it an audition. Gets you listed and gets you a chance for more assignments in future (that earn free stuff).

Hey, Shadow - where are you at? and have you tried FCOL or even FCBEM?

I'm in Southern California (Orange County). I found two others on the Commander's Circle near me, but have not received a reply to my emails yet.

I've downloaded FCOL, but haven't actually tried it yet. It's certainly not my first choice, especially since I've been buying/painting the miniatures, but I may have to go that route one of these days.

PBEM just seems too slow to me. Might be a valid option, but I would want to set up a board here and make the moves as they are posted (so I could see it in real time), but I don't have the room to keep the playing surface laid out that long...

I guess one of these days when I have more time I will beg on these forums for opponents for FCOL. Someone with patience and a willingness to teach as well as play... :)

I'm a new FedCom player myself and I'm moving to Socal (Redlands) this month. I'm game if you can find a few others and form a FedCom group that meets often.

No need to beg. Just put your name and information down in this thread:
http://www.federationcommander.com/phpB ... .php?t=274

Most people on that list are willing to teach, I'd bet.
