It looks like the Last Chance Restaurant at the edge of the galaxy.

By the way ... you hand-carved a lot of these, yes? Have you ever thought of making castable masters?? You might want to contact Steve Cole and see if he's interested in making molds from your work.

As for what it is, I don't think we're allowed to post about that company. It looks a little "crabbie" to me.

Well drwibble, you got the comic book right. It's a Lokan Atmosphere scout.

"Crabbie", Mr Chapel?

Sgt_G , All of my own designs, with a few exceptions, have been cast already from the very plasticard masters that you've seen here. They have already been through the moulding process,I just haven't got around to painting them up. Castable masters were made from them over 10 years ago now. 8) I take it that you didn't look at my sig then?

I think I was about 10 when that comic was originally published...it's tricky remembering the details! I do recall there were a couple of other cool flier designs, was sorry that flier didn't get company.

What is the Federation ship in the bottom RH corner of your original pic?

Did Irregular put your version of the Fed frigate into production? I don't remember seeing it in their range.

Yes dr they did put my version into production, I think it's down as a revised Perry class FF. So is the Repair Dock.
Their flying battleships range is mine too.

The ship that you asked about,is just a scratchbuild, but it's entirely the wrong shape to do as a 1 piece casting,so it was never put forward as a design. The level of detail on it isn't as great as some of the others.

Ok,just for you,here's a series of pics.

Your larger freighter looks very similar to where the Taldren guys went with the freighters in the Star Fleet Command video games. Great minds think alike.

There was a company that made their own races for SFB and one of them was described as being advanced crustaceans. If I remembered rightly, their ships were crescent shaped and held a weapon pod between the points.

My apologies if I offended with a lame pun.

There is a revised Perry class in their listings, yes. Unfortunately they have never fully illustrated the range and they don't seem to attend many of the shows in the south of the UK these days. Makes is diffciult to figure out what is what!

Yes, can see what you mean about the shape not lending itself to casting. I rather like that one though, it has some similarities to the Ambassador class.

I particularly liked the "Fireball XL5" as well, not in the pics you've shown though.

Yep, same age range! If I remember correctly, the Trigon Empire first appeared in a comic called Ranger, though I think it has been published in other forms since then.

Ok then dr,here are the Fireballs, hope you like them. The comic/mag that I remember it appearing in was the Look and Learn, circa 1965.

If you need help as to what models are what, just pm me,and I can let you know.( I might have pics)

On both this forum, and the legacy bbs, it is not permitted to talk about copyright violators. Companion Games was probably the "A-number-1" exhibit of such violators. Please don't mention them, even indirectly.

Thank you.

Thanks for that mjwest, even though I'd never heard of them or what they'd been doing,I now understand Mr Chapels post, and agree that they should not be mentioned.
