Augusta, GA / Fort Gordon - Lookign for players

Hey all,

I just completed movng my son and his family to Fort Gordon. Part of the final load was Mark's SFB/F&E/Fed Comm collection. He doesn't have a full-time internet connection yet, but he is looking for players in the area. If anyone in that area plays, chime in here.

When Uncle Sam gives him a free moment or two, he'll check in and see your post.

Hey! I lived in Augusta, GA for 11 years. I'm about an hour away from there now. Don't know any FC players there currently. I remember there used to be a group of SFB players there who met at a Pizza Hut every weekend. I drove over and watched two or three times. They weren't friendly at all. I don't remember any of them ever even saying "hi" even though I sat down and watched them play for almost an hour each time.

Then there was one time I put a note up at the local game store to advertise wanting to play. A really huge guy showed up at my house one Friday night. The first words out of his mouth were, "Man you have a Toyota Supra! I'm going to steal your car when I leave, man!"

Things went downhill from there.

After that I started trying to get my students interested in playing.

Its really kind of funny now that I think back on it!

Too bad you're not still there, Mike. I'm sure Plasmaboy would have loved the chance to play.
Maybe there are still one or two unknown Fed Comm players in the area.
He has contact info for a couple that we puled of of the Commander's Circle "Find a Player" section before he left...
