Been thinking about this tread lately, and I had this idea: Since the GSC mini's saucer is thicker than the CA/CC/BC saucers, one could get a GSC mini, trim the sensor dishes off the rim of the saucer, and use that for a CB. The thicker saucer would give it a 'heavy' look you could pick out of a squadron at a glance. It wouldn't have all the weapons bumps, but a spot of glue and some paint or decals would fix that.

That's not bad! With the thicker saucer,you might be able to add a small Center Warp deck to it,too.

Not to resurrect an older thread here, but I'll show off my CB that I made last year. It's based on some other artwork that's not part of the SFU, but it might give you some ideas to help put some differences on your ship.
