I lack the skill to letter my Federation ships...so I just use 40k decals instead.

I too wish I had the skill to paint on the markings, or figure out how to do my own. I'm sure they wouldn't come out to suit me though, so for now my minis will be markings-free. Of course, they can be any ship I choose that way, so it's not all bad not having markings.

I too wish I could hand-letter like that but my hands shake too much (too much Red Bull, I guess).

These look great. Hand painted lettering is almost impossible to make perfect, but these are pretty impressive. My buddy Dale McKee hand letters too - I have great respect for anyone who can pull it off as nicely as this. Well done!

I also with I could freehand numbers and such that well. I don't have an excuse for it like Red Bull or coffee or anything--just poor coordination.

I like your engine nacelle stripes with multiple small lines rather than one large red one. I'm going to have to find some decals to do that with.

Nice non-standard paints on the Hydrans. More and more of these around, making me want to buy more.

Those are some great scratchbuilds, I'd love to see more of them.
