Requete:
As seen already in SFB, I'd argue that there is enough room in the future of FC to go around, concerning the inclusion of some of the 'strange, new worlds' beyond the Alpha Octant.
(Technically, we already have M81 as an alternate setting, and the Andro inclusion will open the door to Operation Unity. That's three corners of the universe right there.)
I know I say this as someone with an interest in seeing just such expansions take place, as one might notice with my entries in the Omega conversion project, for example...
...but I like to think that there is a place for those who want to stay in Alpha only, and for those of us who look to go beyond it.
