Miniatures and Decals?

Hey, I was wondering for the symbols on the ships are there decals? Or do people usually just freehand stuff?


Also is there a good place showcasing some paintjobs of ADB starships? I've seen a few smatterings in the store, the legacy site (contests mostly), and mostly Feds on Star Ranger, but I haven't found many SFB/FC websites with people showcasing their fleets. Though SFU miniatures tend to be fairly monotone in terms of paint jobs anyway from what I've seen.

I believe there are other sources for them, but this is what I went with, at least for the three squadron boxes I had. My wife--who's done all the work, bless her--put on the decals, too, but a lot of the decals (we think) were for details she'd already painted on. But, yes, the logos you see are probably decals, mostly.
