New Orion Paint Scheme

Hereâ€™s my first Orion shipâ€¦ a Light Raider. Inspired by some of Adam Turnerâ€™s artwork, itâ€™s my first non-standard paint scheme. And itâ€™s my first attempt at flames on a miniature.

Itâ€™s rather bright, I know, but thatâ€™s because I havenâ€™t hit it with a matte finish yet. And I need to fix up the starboard nacelle. And I still have to put on a decal or two. Iâ€™m mulling over the scheme now, wondering if itâ€™s final or if I want to strip it.

Nice job! Flames are hard - I haven't gone there yet.

not bad, Paul.
The flames on my first Orion squadron started out white... but they were just too bright, so I toned 'em down a bit with orange and yellow.

I tried something similar with one of my CRs...

Your white flames look great. I can't paint a straight line to save my life, so flames were easy.
