Help Finding Fiction Story

I'm trying to find an old SFB fiction story I read awhile ago, that was about the Neo-Tholians first arriving and their subsequent first combat action against the Klingons using the web casters. I think it was called "A Different Kind of Web" by Michael Woodcock. I found the scenario in Scenario Book #1 (SH22), but it doesn't mention anything about the story. I thought it was perhaps in an old Captain's Log, but I've gone through all my old issues and can't find it. I'm probably just going crazy and it's hiding right before my eyes (or maybe I'm just going plain crazy).

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks,

You might be thinking of the story Fight Fire with Fire - which is published in both Captain's Log #22 and in the For the Glory of the Empire compilation.

Hummm, I think that might actually be the one I was thinking about. I don't have Captain's Log #22, but I do have For The Glory Of The Empire, so I bet that is where I read it (and why I couldn't find it later).
