The Klingon Armada is coming!!
Just read this on SVCs dayblog:
"Daniel Kast about how to package Starmada (due for release in October!)."
I'm really looking forward to KA. I've read the Starmada rules, and it seems like a clean, fast game system. I've been finding it difficult to get players locally interested in FC, which is my preferred system. KA will appeal to the gamers who want simpler, faster systems with lots of miniatures though, and I'll be able to do at least some SFU gaming...

Yes, we have the complete book (lacking only some details relating to packaging) and are scheduling release for October.
This will be a book (somewhere between 50 and 100 pages) with:
Starmada quickstart rules (the latest ones)
The Klingon Armada annexes
40 ship diagrams
The ship diagrams will be sold separately as PDFs.
The ships will be the ones from Klingon Border, Klingon Attack, and Boosters 1-6, so they conveniently match the countersheets and miniatures packs if you happen to want counters or miniatures.

Pinecone, Klingon Armada is a Star Fleet Universe version of the Starmada space combat game system. Starmada's quite a cool game, been around a while (10 years?) and is popular amongst space combat gamers. It's designed for use with miniatures on a hex grid, although you could use counters if you wanted.

You don't need Klingon Border or Klingon Attack to play Klingon Armada.
You could use the maps and counters if you just wanted to.
You could also use squadron boxes #1-#6 if you want minis.
Klingon Armada includes the quickstart rules for Starmada, but you can do a lot more with your shps if you buy the Starmada Admiral Core Book.
