Romulans!!!

Post by Starfury »

I recently purchased a bag of Romulans from ADB and have finally worked through my "to paint" pile and it's their turn.

The question: What color(s) to paint them? There's the standard ones fromt he painting guide. There is green like ST: TNG. And there is...whatever. Considering I've got 12 of them I'll probably break them down into 3 elements of 4 ships each. About half are the Eagle design, the others are the Hawk design.

Ive seen them from white to green, and a few that were red. With my klingon fleet, Im going to make all but the dreadnaught ship a greyish color with random abstract black streaks.

There are painting guides on the legacy site. Before you groan, we have done a TON of work to make the legacy site easier to use. go there (www.StarFleetGames.com) and admire the new front page, then click SITE MAP and get a much easier route to the goodies. From there, you can click the STARLINE button on the left, or the Index:Starline button on the right, and in either case (they go different places) find a link to painting guides.

Steve: I've had no problem finding the painting guides on the site and I'll most likely do 1 squadron with the "standard" color scheme. The other two I plan to do differently just for fun...like my metallic red Kzinti frigates or blue Federation NCA.
