This was originally posted as a follow-up to another topic in a non-miis related thread, but I thought it might be more appropriate here:

I was going to wait until later this weekend, when it's completely finished... but the desire to show it off is too great.

I know it's been a long time coming (and it still isn't finsihed), but the near mythical, production version of the Juggernaut went through the first "dry-fit" of all the major components earlier this week.
The overall length will come in right at 4 3/16th of an inch long. This will make it the longest of the Starline minis, but the Andro Dominator and the Klingon B10 will still out-mass it when cast in pewter.
Here's what it looks like at about 95% complete.

Bear in mind that details still need to be added to the "tusks", the large Phaser-4 mounts need to be added, and the second vetical stabilizer isn't present in these photos.

In addition:
there is still some sanding / shaping required to remove scored lines used for component placement...
There is some excess epoxy removal required...
The neck details need to be added...
and so on...

But I have most of today and all of Sunday to work on it, so it will be in the mail to ADB on Monday morning.

Very impressive, well worth the wait for this level of quality.

Well done!

My other minis quiver in fear at the prospect of that beast coming out of a mold and onto my workbench.

Phenomenal work Mr. Thomas. You've really outdone yourself.

...and the challenge is still on. I intend to have the F-5W finished to send to Amarillo Monday as well. First mini to SVC's doorstep wins the unprize.

If somebody is doing an F5W, I need an Email from you ASAP to discuss scheduling since it is supposed to ship on November 16th. I had assumed we would just use the F5 for that, but if there is going to be an F5W I need it in the mail like, oh, Monday.

The JUGGERNAUT is FINISHED!!!

It and the Federation DD engine go to UPS tomorrow morning for shipment to ADB.

As the three major sub-assemblies (nose, main hull, and tail/booms) were just epoxied and braced until final cure of the epoxy... they are no pictures.

I will photograph it at work tomorrow before I package it and will post those pictures Monday night!

Dan, now that the Juggernaut is completed, I should be able to knock out the rest of the Peasus in no time. It should be headed to ADB this coming weekend (or the Monday morning after that)
